I'll probably rent some of those games coming in the fall. I'll buy Madden 2005 within the next few days though

Couldn't agree more.

The GameCube was the worst investment I've ever made. Ever. Thank God I only purchased it for $99.99. Advice? Stick to an Xbox or PS2.

Paper Mario 2 named "Game of the Month" in latest EGM. Also IGN gave it 9.1 and GameSpot gave it 9.2

Cool RE4 Package Yesterday I went to Gamestop to pick up my prime2 tshirt and I went ahead and reserved Resident Evil 4 while I was there. The guy asked me if I wanted collectors version and said how it has a Metal case, soundtrack CD, original art and something else. I quickly reserved that, but this is the first time I heard anything about it. I have been watching RE4 very closely and I never heard about this before yesterday. So whats the deal? Why didn't you guys report it?-adv2k1

Matt responds: Nice find. Just got the scoop from Capcom on this and it turns out that GameStop is indeed offering a unique RE4 package to its customers. I should note that this is not an official Capcom-branded Collector's Edition Resident Evil 4 set. The game itself will not be any different from versions sold at other stores. That said, the GameStop version does sound pretty cool. While GameStop is handling all of the production costs, Capcom is supplying the retailer with a number of cool art-related extras. Here's what you get:


Special red metal/tin Resident Evil 4 box
Mini Resident Evil 4 art book
The soundtracks from the movies Resident Evil and Resident Evil: Apocalypse
Resident Evil 4 laser cell
You may not have to pre-order Resident Evil 4 to get this special package from GameStop. According to Capcom, it'll also be on display when the game comes out.

lol the price is too high. I can get a pre-owned copy of that game here in Canada for $30 (like 15-20 pounds).

btw guys, whats teh cheapest place to buy new GC games here in the US? cause I dont want to buy used ones now that are discs (I used to do it when they were cartridges).

ebay/half? Ive seen some good prices there but maybe there's a better place

yeah but those are Player's Choice so they're 20 bucks everywhere (or cheaper at Half/ebay)

Hakeem, well I live in Canada and future shop has the games in decent price. Since you live in USA, i'll say just check out walmart, best buy, EBgames, GameStop. You gotta check out there websites or flyers to see when they give stuff on sale and so on. OR if you have ALOT OF TIME in your hand, just go to blockbuster and rent a game for a week and beat it.

Future Shop's pretty good but I refuse to shop there because their sales staff are wayyy too pushy. You can't even look at a pack of batteries without having a salesman trying to hump your leg Best Buy is good though..
