For the last 10 months or so I've been working on a little side project with a friend of mine. It's tourist information website called Genuine Iceland that gives tourists information on how to spend the day in Iceland as the Icelanders do.

The website's been fairly well received, as has the Facebook site associated with it. So I decided to make an online magazine for this project, and spent a couple of months on and off designing the pages and editing the articles. The result:

Click the cover to download the magazine, and follow this link for the Genuine Iceland website

Ha, awesome. Liked it on FB too as I've always thought of Iceland as a scary, treeless place with people spending all their days in boiling pits of lava-water - must educate myself!

Erm... isn't there one single thing in Iceland you could have depicted on the cover more interesting than a generic picture of a cat?

But I guess it's good that you're doing something productive, I will read it later, if only to get some insider information on my enemy....

Other countries have kittens too you know.

(admittedly in some they get eaten)

Now I think we all know what should have been on the cover...

http://genuineiceland.com/

already starting work on articles for the next issue. Cover won't be of a kitten. This particular kitten did capture my heart over the summer so I felt I had to place him on the cover.

Read up on what we have to share and it would be awesome if people liked us on facebook. we don't earn anything from this, but the higher number of likes the better we look. plus you get constant updates of knowledge for your future Iceland trip
