nobody has said anything about bundesliga yet. i used to watch every week and i have to say it's the worst definitely. the fact that schalke managed to finish 2. a few seasons ago even though they lost 10 times says it all...and also look at bayern, they have dropped 18 points in 15 games and are still only 3 points off the top! if a team from the bottom half goes on a 4 or 5 winning streak they're in te top 6 straight away....
I like a balanced league. The first twelve teams within a 10 point margin. Bremen and Schalke have finally catched up to Bayern.

Unless I am reading that wrong the goals in Italy are 2.49 while Spain has 2.42, so it seems like its not that ****.

Here is another site http://www.soccerstat.net/summary.jsp?typeName=SPL

Last season there was also more goals allowed in Italy than in Spain. Looking at that Spain allowed the less goals than England aswell.

Depends on what you mean by tough, if in the I can bully my way to goal than sure its the EPL but if its actual skill or technique than La Liga all the way. There is a reason why most English player dont go aboard because their style is suited for England. Also like face said La Liga is usually more balanced than other leagues.

Sorry mate, you can show all the stats you want, but it's easier to be a forward in La Liga than it is in the EPL. You dont see that many top class (or so they say) Spanish players going abroad aswell do you? How many players from the Spanish NT play outside Spain?

Of course La Liga is more skilled, i'm not discussing that. And i'm talking about offensive players aswell. EPL is a league that a bigger time of adapdation. Some players are suited to a league or another, but if you're a succesful player in EPL chances are you're going to be the **** anywhere else. Take C. Ronaldo as an example.

He's great in the EPL and he would be great in Serie A, or La Liga, or any league for that matter. In Spain he would be even better because some tackles that arent called in EPL would go his way in La Liga. That's of course, my opinion. You have yours. But often i find the defending in La Liga to be quite irritating.

Forlan had a hot season but has since cooled down, not to mention he has Riquelme by his side. So far this season Fabiano and Forlan have 4 goals in the league. Last season Forlan had 10 goals in the league and Fabiano had 5 goals. Thats not too amazing I think.

At Man Utd he had Scholes, Giggs, Roy Keane, Ruud Van Nistelrooy...

I said Luis Fabiano is scoring at a decent rate based on his last games. Like 3 in his last 4-5 games. He's crap anyway. Forlan is also crap. And crap as he is, he was almost the Pichichi in his first season. An EPL flop.

ok, here's a fact for some of you, not a lot of spanish/italian/english players go abroad cuz they have good leagues.

the epl is physically harder while the serie a is tactically harder.

Erm how is it easy if less goals are being allowed in the league compared to Italy or England? They dont go aboard for the same reason, their play usually suits La liga/Serie A ( for Italians ). Becuase most came up from the youth and know how to play in La Liga, just like English players know how to play in the EPL.

Not true, Gravesen was not that great, Beckham not that great, Owen was good because he was a fast player and skillful ( most fast players that have some skills do well, like Reyes who did well in England but did not like life there. Or like C. Ronaldo would does well because of his amazing speed that he has aswell as his other skills. ).

Yes C. Ronaldo would be even better in La Liga as his style of play is more suited to La Liga but he does well in England because of his speed and his other skills. Too bad he alwasy gets the **** kicked out of him.

All those combined don't match Riquelme ( in terms of creativeness and making plays happen ) when he is on form. Not only that but like I said he and Villarreal were having a really good season and since have died down a lot. BTW he was Pichichi his first season here. Also his style of play is more suited to La Liga than in England.

Fabiano is in a similar case like Forlan, his team ( Sevilla ) are very good this season and he is mixing well with their team. ATM he does have a decent rate of scoring but I doubt he will hold that up.

It depends on the kind of player.

La Liga is harder for defenders, Serie A for forwards and Premiership for players who can't handle the physical game.

couldn't have said it any better.

Harder = higher standards and better football. Look at the Champions League how often is it won by Spanish or Italian teams? Compared to English? this coming from a guy who watches EPL all the time, supports Chelsea and hates Italian football. it’s the truth sure EPL is fun to watch but it’s the only league where the goal keeper can kick it up field two touches maybe even one some times and we have a shot on goal, now that’s not hard.

its not only about the contenders for the title, it is also about the contenders for relegation and I think EPL comes out top on this. Can you remember two seasons back when going into the last match west brom was coming last and 90 minutes later they finished out of the relegation zone, it doesn't get much tougher than that

That's because 1) La liga is a very good league 2) Standard of living in Spain is great 3) All facets of culture

I gotta go with EPL, cause to even stay in it you have spend a lot more money on players than in other leagues

or you could just spend that money on bribing Officials and go win Serie A

:jap:
