the cross was perfect but losing your opponent, sensing where the cross would land, positioning yourself before that in swinging cross for not being in an offside position.... these are really hard to do at this level and balo did all the above right..

He's a complete different animal for Italy and especailly in big games

Have you ever played? When the ball is curving like that and you're on the outside of your man, it's not hard to get some separation, nor to judge where the ball is headed. But I will agree that he seems to be the perfect National Team player; gets so amped for the big games.

Anyway, I think England have been very good, the only problem is that the Italians have superior technical ability which has resulted in some perfect passes.

I had the chance to play with U-17 national players when I was 24.. I was an inside forward, not a striker but it was hard it's all I can say..
