yeah I guess you're right
even though currency in all economically stable countries prior to the euro has stayed the same or improved......
all the euro did was level the playing field....
no more brits coming on holiday to buy our products for 1/3 the price.....
and the fact that Britain is stuck up the U.S' *ss, and has economically isolated itself from the rest of Europe is something that it will pay for in the future.......see USSR ......when you isolate yourself you fall.
When Britain realizes the benefits it will come around.........right now they need to take a break from american falacio.....

I guess that's why the Euro is so weak then, and still falling. May have made your economy stronger, but it's made France's and Germany's weaker. Germany used to be the strongest economy in Europe, and France equal second with Britain. Now Britain is ahead by miles, and thats not me being patriotic, that's fact. That's a fair comment, and the bad thing down here in Oz is that we are going the same way, what with the so called 'free trade agreement' with the Usa currently and supposedly 'more like grovelling to the demands of the Us" being thrashed out by our half wit and imbecilic pollies in Canberra, but the real danger to us in Oz is the fact that our half wits havn't really gone into the darker areas of what that free trade agreement really contains in regard to the real motives behind the Us 'offer' . Oh Fk, we could end up being the newest state of America if that bill gets passed. New Zealand here i come.

Well we had all better start getting it in now before the new laws in the states come into effect july 1st 2005, b'cos after that date all hardware that even looks like being able to back up cd's, video, dvd's and even receive and backup Hdtv signals will be banned as imports into the Usa, only 'compliant' hardware will be allowed in due to the new broadcast flags that will be introduced, new dvd movie protections will also be introduced within the next few months that send conventional recorders haywire when trying to back them up, hence denying the end user the rights to back up a purchased dvd, and you can also bet your last dollar that once it happens in the states the pressure via trade sanctions will be applied across the globe to the rest of us to accept those demands, but also according to the latest bs from the Riaa and the music/tv media outfits any hardware produced and sold before that deadline won't be effected, so we have all got about 11 months to decide which way to go.
