Yeaaaa, we beat Mallorca!!! JK, but we did 1-0. We win the Pirelli cup for the 1000th time, now lets win some serious $hit like the CL.

glad Inter could win it. Honestly, I don't care if Inter can win the Pirelli Cup or not.

Italian Super Cup is the next important task to complete.

In the long term, either Serie A or CL would be the best thing for us. Last, but not least, Coppa Italia too. :)

I guess Mancini is going for a Ibra Adriano attack...

I hope it doesn't work I think Crespo deserves a chance to start this season.

Internazionale star Esteban Cambiasso has signed a new deal at the club.

The Argentine international has inked a two-year extension to his contract to keep him at the Giuseppe Meazza until 2010.

Cambiasso joined Inter in 2004 on a free transfer from Real Madrid.

The defensive midfielder has established himself as a key player for Inter since his arrival at the club.

Inter have moved to reward the 26-year-old for his impressive form with a new improved deal.

Great news and hardly surprising.
Esteban has established himself as the pulse of this side, his work in the midfield kept us in a lot of games. Hopefully he can continue to elevate his performances.

Sporting Lisbon 0-0 Inter

LISBON - Sporting Lisbon and Inter played out a goalless draw in Monday's friendly match at the Estadio Josè Alvalade, staged to mark the Portuguese side's centenary year. Mancini's men twice hit the woodwork: Crespo poked a shot against the post following a flash of brilliance from Ibrahimovic just after the half-hour mark, and second-half sub Alvaro Recoba rattled the Sporting crossbar in the closing stages with a blistering 35-yard drive from a free kick. Inter played most of the second half in ten men following the dismissal of Marco Materazzi for a second yellow card.

Before kick-off Luis Figo , who captained Inter before making way for Ivan Cordoba in the second half, was presented with a gold medal to mark his contribution to Sporting Lisbon's 100-year history. Figo began his career at Sporting sixteen years ago and spent six seasons at the club before transferring to Barcelona. At Sporting he made his name as part of the 'golden generation' of Portuguese youngsters who won World U16 and U20 titles in 1989 and 1990.
