Well dear, It is also the game you play. Gilardino is a poacher, Adriano and definitely Zlatan are not. How many goals has Gilardino scored from actions he himself started. So9rry for my english, I'd prefer to talk in Italian.

Inter Primavera beat Eccellenza category side Bressanone 6-0 in Thursday afternoon's friendly match in Riscone di Brunico. Julio Ricardo Cruz left the Brunico training camp for Naples (via Verona) early this afternoon, whilst Nicolas Burdisso and Hernan Crespo continued their pre-season preparations with Giannicola Bisciotti in the gym.

you all still dont get my point. Im not at all saying Zlatan and Adriano are not good players, but a Zlatan-Adriano combo will not work well.

Adriano himself plays deep and so does Zlatan. Whats the use of Zlatan's holding up then? No one will be waiting in the box.

Crespo-Zlatan is the best option.

I thake your point. You're the only sensible Milanista here it seems. Anyway. I would play an Adriano-Ibrahimvic supporting Crespo/Martins (which I still admire more). That would mean, removing a player from midfield... And with Viera in excellent condition (as he seems to be, already scored a goal, and set up a few more), it won't be a great loss. This is not to offend you or something... but you really needed Ibra didn't you?

I see the lineup going something like this

==Zanetti====Cordoba====Samuel====Grosso==

==============Cambiasso================

====Figo=========Vieira========Stankovic==

===========Adriano======Ibra============

I think I would rather have Vieira up front as he can show great aerial skill so I would want him closer to the front than say Cambiasso, who is more of the deep playmaker role (ala Pirlo)

and then there's this...

Inter now want Buffon! Friday 11 August, 2006

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

After signing the Juventus duo of Patrick Vieira and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Inter chief Massimo Moratti is reportedly eyeing a move for Gigi Buffon.

Stories in the peninsula on Friday suggest that the Via Durini outfit expressed an interest in the world champion during negotiations for Ibra’s transfer on Wednesday.

The Nerazzurri are understood to have offered the Old Lady almost £13m and veteran ‘keeper Francesco Toldo in return for the current Italian No 1.

Although Buffon has pledged his future to the Bianconeri outfit he could be tempted by the opportunity of competing for the Scudetto and playing in the Champions League this term.

Juventus have declared that the player is untransferable, but may now consider the option of letting him go if Inter striker Julio Cruz were to be included in the move.

Moratti’s club, who take on Juventus tonight in a three-team tournament along with Napoli, is now considering Juve’s request for Cruz to be included in any proposed deal for the custodian.

It’s unclear, though, whether the 32-year-oold Argentine would accept Second Division football – even with La Vecchia Signora.

Milan are also still in the race to sign Buffon and are seemingly waiting to make an offer after their Champions League preliminary round tie against Red Star Belgrade on August 23.

Juventus fans are keeping their fingers crossed that Buffon doesn’t move on to Inter as the Tuttosport newspaper, based in Turin, outlined today.

Their front page underlined the frustration of the supporters who haven’t taken too kindly to Juventus strengthening their great rivals this summer.

I would be happy with that lineup. Of course rotation is key for this squad to be successful. If Mancini insists on playing Adriano every single game no matter how poorly he's performing with the likes of Crespo on the bench I'm going to flip.

I want Inter to try a 4-3-3 with Adriano on the left, Ibra on the right and Crespo in the middle... Vieira would do a good job with that, then Stankovic, Figo in midfield. That would be sweet to see.

El Merengue Argentino
Id do that but drop Stankovic, and play Cambiasso on the left as a LCM.

to plaa a 4-3-3 with those three up top there'd have to be another holding mid atleast

yoyo913

I'd drop Figo instead, Stankovic can go back and defend a bit, and he can play all over the pitch (right, centre, left) ... and cambiasso dosen't play on the left wing.

the reason i wanted 2 wingers was so that adriano and ibra wouldn't have to create everything

RUSI

El Merengue Argentino
I see what you are saying, but with two wingers, I think it would be too crowded along with the three forwards

El Merengue Argentino
Yeah but Figo and Stankovic are very different from Deco/Iniesta & Xavi/van Bommel.

Plus, I doubt it'd be as effctive with 3 strikers

Inter have just played juve. They lost 1-0 due to a confusion in the defense. A 4-3-3 was tried by Mancini in which both adriano and Martins did brilliantly. The midfield ( still without Vieria) did not impress. An excellent Maicon also made me cry with joy.

NAPLES - Inter lost 1-0 to Juventus in the opening match of tonight's Birra Moretti Trophy tournament at the Stadio San Paolo.

Marcelo Zalayeta decided the match with a looping header into the top corner after Toldo's clearance from a Nedved cross.

Inter's best chance of an equaliser fell to Obafemi Martins who headed narrowly wide from Stankovic's ball into the box.

Inter will play Napoli in the second of tonight's three 45-minute games.

That is the best selection possible.

I agree.

If Stankovic and Figo are 100%, it would great.

But i think Cambiasso and Vieira in the midfield can work better for the team.

And in front of them you can choose between Figo and Stank.

''Lucho'' Figo did great in Barca playing as a left winger, i think...

How much money do you have? :|

I'm not just talking about the fees... you need to pay all those players, and most of them are stars/superstars... Chelsea seem ok now
