one thing you cant put past Moratti, despite what he may say in the press is making retarded decisions.

He traded FABIAN CARINI for Fabio Cannavaro.

He has a such a fondness for Ronaldo, even moreso than his queer as folkesque relationship with Recoba. As ridiculous as it sounds, I could see him trading Adriano, who is going to be one of the best strikers of this generation and is only 24 for the aging and declining ronaldo only for the fact that he doesnt want him at Milan.

I better not wake up and see 'OFFICIAL: Adriano and Ronaldo Swap Clubs'.

Adriano lacks the work ethic and drive necessary to ever come close to being the best of his generation.

With that said, this trade shouldn't even be mentioned let alone seriously considered.

actually, ibrahimovic was quite bad in the supercoppa. in the first half he was no where, but then again inter was no where to be found.

second half, he was constantly losing the ball. he was HORRENDOUS in front of goal. either he was shooting right at doni, or inexplicably missing from like 8-10 yards out. he was atrocious in front of goal, i don't think i can get that point across enough. the only reason he got the assist on vieira's second was because he shanked the ball terribly(8 yards out and would have missed), when he should have scored.

not to mention his embarassing, disgraceful diving. twice he wasn't touched, went down, won the foul, and on the ensuing free kick there was a goal. sure, good on him to win a foul and help in the team scoring, but for him as an individual, i think he is a piece and is terrible for his reputation. his dives were reminiscent of postiga vs france in the WC semi, not being touched and going down. if only refereeing in italy was on the same level as the world cup. but i know that is wishful thinking.

i wouldn't say ibra is overrated, but he is still underperforming by enormous standards.

so if you think that was a good performance, prepare yourself for a frustrating year. you may want to start calling him adriano II.
