Don't believe it ... missed out on my primary target this morning, but noticed this guy had been put up for a day. There have been some pretty impressive bargains so far in this thread, but this guy - worth 378k - bought for only 804k?!?! Absolute steal :D

A cost of 823 443 GBP, probs a bit too much but he will slot into a defensive midfield position quite nicely. Could probably also play as a left back if I wanted to switch to 4 at the back as well...

Good news is I will be back down to the usual amount of money .. feel free to start making transfers again ;)

My first 10 ball player, bargain £650k, only the second known 10 baller (to me anyway... well I know of two others but think they've gone from the database now).

Just gotta wait to get his form up first, then I will sell Dudley Towel, 1 ball keeping less and 2yrs older... for about the same price :p

There will be a lot of tax but now I have a 10 ball keeper an a 20yo ex-youth going for 8, so as soon as Elric gets some form, I won't need Dudley. And I can possibly get my money back to buy another outfield player.

So I'm now going after a certain English 9 ball tackling defender... not from Team Swish though ;)

Apparently he's not maxed in tackling or passing...

Just bought for 578k. Great buy i reckon, stick him on speed and he'll be good all round midfielder. I'm happy though because thats my first XI complete, all senior players with over 200k value ;)

Much cheaper than moneybags' player, just as good methinks :p

Pretty much the same except for he's missing 2 speed balls and 2 play intel compared with mine sharky; ok 1 more stam, but shooting advantage doesn't matter to me with middies.

Reckon that's decent value though at 580k.

Next step for me is to get all my players over 300k value ... how come I am in div 3 and you're in div 1!? ;)

Well moneybags I have 8 players over 300k in value, so i'm not as bad as you make me out to be ;)
I was merely pointing out that I have managed to get the other 3 players over 200k... time to get those over 300k too, so i have a full starting XI of >300k-ers.
