Rinaldo, I've tried to open my Tournament (I'm not playing a career, just the 1-Bundesliga Tournament), but MM didn't open the file. When I try to open a file, I have options to choose career or tournament, so, I choose a tournament, but nothing happens. I have the brazilian version.

Could you help me, please?

Brilliant tool a must have for anyone with a Career game currently. I managed to get Igor Akinfeev finally onto my team (only on the Russia squad), adjust bodysize, development potential, skill stats, contracts, it all works.

I made the Russian League to get around that. Akinfeev is a quality goalkeeper though. EA should put CSKA in the rest of the world league.

I haven't tried editing anything in mm08 yet but it all seemed to open ok so it works for me.

Maybe a language problem ? Please let me know the name of you db for brazil (equivalent to eng.db) and which entry in the registry is recorder for the locale variable in

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\EA SPORTS\FIFA 08

for example I have:
Locale REG_SZ it

In any case the next version will have the possibility to select the db separately.

The only 'downside' (not that it matters) is that the game experience resets to zero. It doesn't matter because you can 'grow' the skills of your players anytime. Want everyone to have 99 speed, no worries. Make your GK a giant, no worries. Make Rooney fatter, no worries.

Yes this is the problem because it's not in the list of languages that the program automatically recognizes. You should also tell me the value of the locale variable. Use regedit and navigate to:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\EA SPORTS\FIFA 08

for example I have:
Locale REG_SZ it

Next beta will solve the problem.

Can anyone help me with changing a player's name. I have a 'young player' (Id is 409519) and have changed his name serveral times and saved the database only to find it's reverted back to the original name, I take it it's due to the young player file, but how do I access it to make sure the name is the same?

Ok, Rinaldo... I found the value of my locale variable: Locale REG_SZ pt_BR.

After these informations, do you think it will be possible to make MM compatible with Brazilian Portuguese version?

Names cannort be changed (because the career file does not allow this) I will disable this feature.
