He is definitely one of the best. Some others are Ortega, Arellano (Mexico), Davids and Latapy (Hibernian - Scotland).

what about Zidane, Beckham, Raul, a young brazilian player in Atletico Madrid (something like Jorginho?), etc...

Veron and Redondo are the best Midfielders in the world, anyway!

Yeah, I agree Rui Costa is one of the best.
I also like Davids, Paulo Sousa, and Veron.

I would also like to say Forca Boavista!!! Watch out for us in the Champions League.
