2. Green Day - 21st Century Breakdown - (Friday, May 15)

Muse are releasing their album this year, maybe around August...

The best album of the year will probably be Manners from Passion Pit for me.
Just started listening to it now after it was leaked last week.
Definitely something to try out!

Eminem - Relapse.
Depeche Mode- Sounds of the Universe.
Lil Wayne -Rebirth.
Bob Dylan - Throughout through life.
Jonas Brothers - Lines, Vines and Trying Times. ( Big Expectations)


These are the stand out releases along with 21st Century Breakdown in the coming few months for me.

Green Day's first single of their new album was out btw on the 16th April.



Not bad, just a bit too repetitive IMO.

I'm waiting for The Wombats' album " This Modern Glitch" ( 25 April ).

IMO it will be the best album of 2011 for me...

Didn't like This Modern Glitch, really.

Good albums in 2011 so far have been Pala by Friendly Fires and Suck It And See by Arctic Monkeys.

New Willie Nelson album coming out next week - Heroes. I know Willie has been hit and miss but I still love him and this one looks like it could be good, even though there is a Coldplay cover on it.

Green Day's releasing a new album this year: iUno.

In fact they'll release two and than one more in 2013. Uno! Dos! Tre! From the little I've heard from it so far, it sounds pretty good. Like they're going a bit more back to their pop punk roots.

I wouldn't get to excited. Generally when a band whose been around for years then tries to return to the style that made them so popular generally fails. I've seen it loads of times before and Green Day have become so diluted and sold out that they've got a long long way to go back to their best.
