The Daily Show did a great job of isolating Larry Craig's comments on how he doesn't like or approve of "the [gay] lifestyle". So it's the lifestyle that he has a problem with, but having gay sex every now and then is OK. Which is ironic, because sodomy is the sin. The stereotypical "gay lifestyle" in itself is not a sin. I'm willing to give Craig a break on this, because he's not really a religious conservative. Someone like Ted Haggard on the other hand...
