What's the MLS like for betting Sir_Didier_Drogba? I'm in a small rut at the moment

Watched the first half of Seattle - SKC before I flipped over to the NASCAR race. I don't know why people heap so much praise on SKC, I know they're effective, but it's ugly to watch. Even Stoke would think they foul a lot.

Atlas - Jaguares was a fun game to watch. Carlos Ochoa scored a stunner.

Yeah, that's been coming for awhile. The average television audience for baseball is way up there in age.

Edit: They really need to get Chivas USA/Whatever they'll be next year out of the Galaxy's stadium.

Did Laba play?
Yeah he played, did his job well although the headlines will go elsewhere. The Fernandez goal was magnificent, though unfortunately we only have him on loan it looks like he will have a big impact, and Morales only came on for 15 but scored and look as though we may just have done the impossible and found a replacement for Camilo. However, another big impact was that the CB partnership was OBrien and DeMerrit, both of whom were injured much of last season, so much more solid with those boys - but inevitably they will not stay fit. Reo-Coker looked refreshed and controlled, two goals for Miller show maybe my fears over his decline were unfounded, Mattocks made a contribution too. So yeah, good signs.

Toluca and Cruz Azul, the best teams in Liga MX up to this point. Santos and Leon play attractive football; however, I think their main focus is the Libertadores and will discard the league if the schedules end up interfering.

Funny thing my little broham told me. This weekend he'll play in a tournament called...take a guess.

The Xolos USA Tournament (H)!

Queretaro and Delfines were seized by the Mexican government because Amado Yanez is being investigated for fraud. They haven't been kicked out of the league, for now anyway.

This happened with Veracruz and another team I don't recall, but the FEMEXFUT did nothing back then. Who knows what will happen in this case, we'll have to wait and see but I'm sure Atlante, Atlas and the rest of the teams involved in the relegation battle will want something to be done about this matter considering Queretaro could be kicked out by what the league's protocol says, immediate disaffiliation.

I heard Jaguares might get sold. The current Jaguares owner would sell if the next one promises to keep Jaguares in Chiapas. There is a rumor about Morelia being sold as well, and then possibly relocated to Guadalajara...I'm thinking to take Atlas' spot, IF Atlas get relegated. Atlas and Morelia are owned by TV Azteca, so it's viable it could happen.

FEMEXFUT, the standard of transparency.

I though the Mexican teams would've taken better results back home for the second leg of CONCA Champions, but I think they can overcome these 1-goal differences. They've been able to overcome these results before.

Toluca had a great result in their pocket but let themselves get tied 1-1 against San Jose in the final minute.

Of Xolos, Cruz Azul and Toluca, Xolos is the weakest and has the least favorable matchup. Their defense is very suspect, they're always falling asleep leaving strikers wide open. It's been happening a lot in the domestic league...you wouldn't tell by their place in the standings.

I don't like that the Mexican sides underestimate these MLS teams. They play too many B-squad players and as a result these loses to show for.

That América loss to Alajuelense still haunts me.

Those were big results for the MLS teams but I think Toluca and Cruz Azul go through, LA will hold off Tijuana though.

Very disappointing performance from us today away at Chivas, salvaged a point but they were down to 10 men for most of the game and we could hardly string a pass together. 0 shots, on or off goal, at half time. Back to reality.

Impressive start for Defoe and TFC.

Tough result for San Jose at Toluca. They had chances to win it. Cruz Azul and Kansas City are tied at 2 on aggregate with KC ahead on away goals. Both have on blue jerseys.

Penalty shootouts are the norm for Mexico this week, two in Copa MX as well.

Cruz Azul had quite an impressive showing, something that can't be said for the red devils of Toluca. Tijuana did quick work of the Galaxy with an early 3-0 lead after 26 minutes of playing time.

I'd be more than pleased with Xolos representing our confederation in the Club World Cup, although a meaningless tournament IMO, but it would be a great accomplishment for a club with such a short history and a city that takes a lot of pride in its team.
