Cant wait for our matches against Portugal and Russia, i dont think we could do the same trick that we did in EURO 2004 qualifires, but i would be happy with the 3rd place in the group :)

European group 3 will probably look like this (in my very humble opinion anyway)
1.Portugal
2.Russia
3.Latvia :)
4.Slovakia
5.Estonia
6.Liechtenstein
7.Luxembourg

Great thread but i'm afraid this can get very messy with all the confederations and countries... so, i'm going to start a thread on just South American qualifiers.

Personally, I think the Greek team will be playing with a new sense of confidence. It will be interesting to see how they do against Turkey and Denmark. If I look into my crystal ball, I see Greece being one of the European teams in Germany. Which would be excellent considering Germany has a nice Greek population.

However, my sleeper team for the World Cup qualifiers is...the Republic of Ireland. That's right, the Boys in Green. I think they have a few things going for them, one, they haven't played in a while like the other favoured teams in their group France and Switzerland. They have a healthy Robbie Keane back and will soon have Roy Keane back in the midfielder for the first time since they drew Iran in 2002 World Cup Qualifiers. Personally, I think they will surprise people and will just edge into 1st over France.

Macedonia is in a tough group but i think that if we pull off the right results at the start of the process then we should do well. I do expect us to finish 3rd still meaning we will not qualify but it would show that we are progressing :)

Yeah if we could score atleast 1 goal against you i would be happy no matter how much we will loose, im definetly going to see our home match against Portugal.We usually play low rated teams like Turkey its cool to see some good teams here too :mrpimp: :crazyboy:

Hello,

does anybody have access to the ITALY World Cup Qualification games being played this weekend and on Wednesday against Norway and Moldova.

My local cable provider no longer carries National team games and I am dying to see them. If somebody can tape them for me I would gladley pay for them and any further games in the future.
NTSC standard only please.

some are playing in the english championship (1st division) but many are playing in Macedonia or in Serbia-Montenegro. I hope we can do well as the region is showing signs of recovery.

Turkey low-rated? When was the last time Macedonia got into the World Cup? Weren't they in the same group as Turkey last time there was qualification for the World cup? And didn't they NOT make the world cup, I know Turkey didnt qualify for the Euro but neither did Mace, so don't call Turkey Low Rated, when ur Countries team is much worse.

Well...i wasnt talking about Macedonia, im a latvian, and i was joking...you dont have to be so defencive, i know Turkey is a strong side and we would get our butts kicked if we would meet again...

Again i was just kiddin, sorry anyways.
