The Spanish NT have quality players already. In Spain there are better defenders than Alves and also better wingers. I don't think a Brazilian full back who would feel the colors less than Oleguer could fix their offensive problems.

Spaniards are so antinationalistic that I think outsiders not feeling the colors should be the least of our worries. If he can feel the colors of Sevilla he can feel the colors of Spain. And if you don't think Alves would help the offense, you haven't seen Alves play enough. He's Sevilla's most valuable player imho.

You don't have to live in a country your whole life to feel the colors. I've spent the vast majority of my life in the US but I'm all red and yellow. Alves has lived in Spain for three years, playing on a Spanish team, playing with Spanish teammates. I don't see how you can assume he wouldn't love to play with Spain. You're saying f*ck him based on your own broad assumptions.

I don't have an obsession with taking sevillistas. If you take a look at the starting 11 I left out Reyes and Sergio Ramos. Just because we have good RBs doesn't mean you can't play a better one. Reyes is a phenomenal outside mid but Vicente is fitting better right now. I want to see Daniel Alves start in front of Ramos and Salgado because he makes the attacking game flow better.

Ive said even Puyol cause he usually plays as CB in Barça, not cause his quality is in doubt. BTW Salgado is a great defender; he´s getting old, thats all.

in answer to you questoy datboy, I can't watch La Liga games mainly because It's too damn early here in Australia to watch them. Its like 5AM here when they are being played in Spain.

the big fuss about Lionel Messi is that when his contract ends, he can go for free to any club he wants. because Barca missed out on something in his contract.

Also, Messi is a very promising player. He's super fast and agile, very dangerous. He ripped up the youth championship this summer.
