Iniesta: 340 min played, 1 assist, 0 goals
Gabi: 520 min played, 1 assist, 0 goals
Guti: 663 min played, 2 assists, 1 goal

the cold stats Gabi has played more minutes than Iniesta and his impact in Atletico has been zero. Maybe in the future, for Euro 2008 or WC 2010, Gabi and/or Iniesta will be called, but right now, at this very moment, Guti is better than both and he has way more experience than them.

btw, all of them > Rivera.

PS. Real Sociedad - Osasuna are playing right now, still 0-0.

Guti has been always a benchwarmer, he's still, he only plays because the rest of midfielders are injured and yet it's not sure if he'll play.

i agree... when Valeron is fit (rarely ) he's the best spanish playmaker .

about Villareal-Valencia, it's always nice to see Valencia lose without deserving it . They dominated the whole second half, but Barbosa was fantastic, he made some brilliant saves there. MoM, without any doubt.

Getafe are fit and they play in a very small pitch. Besides, the pressure will be huge for out of football reasons.

I don't think Getafe or Osasuna (in the top of the table right now) will stay too long in that possitions, but it deserves some recognition. At least they won't have to worry about relegation this season.

Actually it does matter, Ronaldo before he was injuried was in great form scoring goals like it was no body's business if he was still in that form he could score some goals against Barca but now that he has been out for a month he could be off and not score. Yes the attitiude and motivation are a big part of it but it also matter how the players who return from injury play.
