Technically a red, F**K OFF first of all Savage had about 3 kicks at gilberto and got no where near the ball, It was in the 12 minute. Like the Champions league final the ref got it wrong.

Wat about L.Neil foul that shuld have been a red.

if you Retaliate in anyway eg by kicking out referees are instructed to show a red card. It was a soft red but as soon as you retaliate he had no choice but to give it

I have seen plenty of retaliation which only get a yellow.

Lauren departs Arsenal and signs for Portsmouth

Lauren's off. Deal done earlier this evening, we let him go too easily. It's even more painful to hear the words "undisclosed fee".

Lauren has left Arsenal to join Arsenal old boys Sol Campbell and Tony Adams at Portsmouth.

The Cameroon full-back also turned down offers from West Ham and Newcastle, and also from a few clubs from abroad.

Lauren was delighted with his move, and said: "I am very excited because it is a new challenge for me and I am looking forward to it.

"Yes, but first of all I was convinced by the coach. I have also got Sol Campbell and Kanu, in the changing room which is very good."

He added that he may not be able to assume his usual right-back position with competition coming from Glen Johnson but said that he was happy to play in any position.

Lauren joined Arsenal as a midfielder but was converted to a right-back by manager Arsène Wenger.

He continued: "It is a big challenge for both of us and will improve the team.

"Whatever, I will happily play in any position and I am just waiting for the first game and if it is Saturday I will be very happy.

"I am looking forward to my first competitive game and I will do my best.

"I am 100 per cent fit and I just need a couple of games."

So what?, he still was an Arsenal player, he played a big roll in your unbeaten season etc, and this is the way you pay your respect to him, it isn't like he was a bad player or something, sometimes hot-headed but he was a good player for Arsenal
