It'll be good for Australia to play agaisnt some quality opposistion like Argentina and Germany. I dont expect them to get throught the group phase but if they do it'd be bloody great to see them agaisnt Brazil!!! we'd get thumped but it would be an experiance for the lads :)

I think it's the Champions of each confederation, plus the World Champions, plus the hosts and one invited nation.

Mexico has to do like 3 things.

Gold Cup
This crappy cup
and WC Qualifying.

How are they going to pull that off?

They're soldiers. :lui:

They should only play in the Gold Cup...Qualifying is pretty much done. Players like Salcido, Lozano, Fonseca are gonna gain a lot of experience by playing in these cups, but I'm afraid LaVolpe will tire them out...hopefully they get a break so they can prepare for the WC.

Mexico 3-1 Japan
Mexico 2-1 Greece
Mexico 1-1 Brazil

Youth Team
Its stupid, especially since argentina and brazil are taking there best players which leaves Inter in a bad position for the Coppa Italia, atleast brazil have allowed Adriano to play the first leg

I think it's pointless, another world cup but less glorious. And recently people are talking about player fatigue, to me one quality tourny is better than 10 of them with teams not giving it their all.

I think its a great idea that Brasil bring their A squad - R9
It it great preparation for the world cup next year which will be held in Germany.
Brasil better win this, and if they dont, they'll have A LOT to learn from it.

To get in this tournament you have to win in your continent, or WC or be host.
