Park btw missed the ball with an open net, then needed 3 shots in a row to score his goal, at least he scored.

Edit: Good game overall, we controlled the game, in the first half we had a go at Villa and in the second half we relaxed and created a few chances, but didn't need to give it all, MotM IMO were Park and Carrick

Baros miracloulasly set up Agbanlahor for the Villa goal early in the second half, but United responded with like 5 great opportunities that Villa barely survivied. After that they all got scared, so they stopped playing and United decided to stop playing as well then. Rooney still can't get another goal, hitting the crossbar this time.

What we're doing this year that we wasn't last is finishing off games early, that game was over after 35 minutes, sometimes we were getting to 80 minutes without scoring last season that wasn't good.

The main reason why this is though is because we got the smart, calm and simple Carrick in there with Scholes and not hurried Fletcher or stupid and clumsy O'Shea. When O'Shea came on, there were no passes through the midfield area and any pass that was through there sucked balls, because O'Shea always tried to do a one touch perfect through on goal ball. That's a difference one player makes and if people don't see or realize it, then the better for us because other teams will think that they can exploit Carrick and just run into the wall instead.

at this rate i would have been happy to splash out 30 mill for carrcik, they guy was the missing link in our midfield. he has been calm cool and collected all season. him and vidic have really moved the team forward. add to that that everyone and their uncle are taking their chances unlike last season where we were extremely wasteful infront of goal. chealsea are going to have a hard time pipping us to the title this season.

ROONEY has played 20 games this season in epl....

out of that he has scored in ONLY 4 games i.e. against

bolton-3
sheffield-2
man city-1

.which makes it a very abd scoring record......he has had dalot of abrren runs and is yet to score since his debut for us in a champions league match
he seems almost to score..just needs the luck.lets hope he gets it
