Mikey that article originated in the Sun mate. Since then, Ferreira has denied even speaking to the media. Skysports just report everything the Sun prints. After all they are the same company, both owned by the same dickhead.

The rumors are here in Spain...but that's not worth much these days as we are linked with everyone. Also Henize would not really pay for himself, I doubt he has that kind of money around to just drop and get himself out of a contract ( it's like 4 million I think that he would have to pay ) and no bank would loan him that kind of money unless he was secured by someone else who could show proof to the bank that they won't lose any money. If the transfer goes that route most likely what will happen is that we will give him the money to pay his contract off than offer him a contract with us...it's basically us getting him a little cheaper and not having to do the whole talks between the 2 clubs to agree on a price and all which could take quite a bit of time. I really don't think we would go after Henize though...Torres and Marcelo are good enough at LB unless we loan out Marcelo or switch Torres to play a different position other than LB.

Fair point, didn't register - you'd think it would, I've only got five years of Media studies qualifications :$

I hope David Gill is out in Portugal to tie a Nani deal up, and not just out there as part of United - Lisbon relations. We do need to start planning for life after Giggsy (though I hope he sticks around for a few seasons yet), and we'll need cover too of course.

I think that allowing Nani to stay on loan at Lisbon would be a good idea for Nani, but as I said I'd prefer from a club standpoint if he was at United ASAP.
