I just had a thought. You know United usually have an annual open training session at Old Trafford prior to the opening game (the Shield in this case). Man I am so there! Ronaldo, Anderson and Nani freestyling? WOW!

BTW: Huntelaar has said he wants to remain at Ajax for another season or so, I wonder who the primary striker target will be?

Congratulations to you Man Utd fans. I think you should greatly thank the administration for theisgood job. Both players are well affirmed... It would be an interesting thing to see them express and develop their skills in the EPL. Does anybody have any ideas if you will play Nani, Anderson, C.Ronaldo and Rooney upfront in the same lineup?

That's a turn up for the books...stealing a march on other clubs to sign not one but two players :p

Impressive signings, although I think Bayern got the better of the Hargreaves deal...£17m? He's good but not that good. Looking forward to next season as I'm pretty happy with the way our squad is shaping up, especially if Alex comes in as expected and we sign a quality striker, like Tevez.

That'd be Fabio. Goals included a nice little bicycle kick. He rated pretty highly.

Type in Fabio Silva on Youtube and you'll find a few highlights from the matches in the tournament.

But, crucially, Nani’s agent, Jorge Mendes, did not meet with Comolli.

Mendes is also Cristiano Ronaldo’s agent and, coincidentally, also represents Anderson.

That is an interesting fact. Mendes being the agent of the two could have played a huge role in this transfers. When we were buying Ronaldo, Mendes did everything fast, as we tied up the player in a space of 24 hours. Now exactly the same thing happened with his other two clients. I bet if Zahavi was their agent, we wouldn't see the end of this transfer.

Anderson is rated highly. I knew about this guy for a while and he has the potential to be as good as Ronaldinho. Hopefully he will reach Ronaldos level doubly quick. It took Ronaldo 2 and a half seasons. Maybe Anderson will take a few months. I hope Nani is as good as they say he is. I havent really seen him. But i know hes quick adn has had some good games.

Hargreaves is a player I like. Hes the most decorated player in England apart from Neville and BEcks who are in their 30's. Hes won everything. I remember when England fans booed him. But they were wrong because hes achieved more than 95% of the player in the England side. He will be a good player for us.

People are thinking we need to sell. LOL. We dont need to sell anyone. We are building a team not breaking up a team. We dont even need to sell Silvestre or Heinze. We want to up the level so we need to add players.

All we need now is a striker with mass potential or an established one with pace. Sounds familiar. But he cant be too expensive. Or the Glazers would have to spend their own money..shockkk lol

We spending the prize money at the moment from winning the league. We need a big team we are a big club. If players like Silvestre who hasnt played much says he wants to stay i dont think we will have a problem. We may need to sell some reserve players to reduce that wage bill. I'm sure its massive at the moment

Rossi is coming back. He scored 9 in 19 matches. We need to give him a chance, we probably dont need to buy a new striker.

Smith is not good enough for a week in week out place. He's not goin to score enough goals in a season. We can't rely on Saha anymore, as he's never fit. Solskjaer is slowly winding his career up, leaving Rooney, who isn't an out and out striker. He drifts around the pitch, and we need someone who will be in the penalty area, on the end of all the creativity provided from Ronaldo, Rooney, Nani and Anderson. Rossi to come back (Y) but i still think a top quality striker with good finishing and pace is neeeded.
