we should move for Zidane, being able to head butt like that makes him the perfect keano replacement :funny:

all kidding aside i hope we start to see some real moves in the market now that the WC is over. the 14th approches rapidly, lets see if that rumor is true. a man can dream cant he

Sure, but I still don't get what hopeunited was thinking about when he said that Evra should "rediscover his winger talents", we have enough wingers on the left and well...you don't play left-back as a right winger.
Giggs can play RW and has switched to it a number of times, Park too. And Heinze and Silvestre seem to have the LB position cemented. So it's logical for Evra to be given a chance at LW maybe since Park and Giggs are flexible and Richardson won't be an indispensable first team player.

If Ronaldo and Ruud leave we are done. Chelsea got 2 times better adding Ballack and Sheva how are we suppose to challenge that without Ruud and Ronaldo?
Ronaldo did nothing stupid asses, He has the right to be angry and dissapointed, Rooney is the one to blame, well Lampard is the one to blame. but c'mon...I dont care what it takes we should keep Ronaldo, the kid is one of the most promising players in the world. Rooney and Ronaldo both are our future. We need to build the team around them.

IMO the only way I would accept Ronaldo and Ruud to leave is If we get Kaka Joaquin and Huntelaar

Ribery is, in my opinion, very possible and as near a perfect fit as you will get. Switching one for the other is gonna make you a pretty penny

Apparently he wants a French coach.... in the EPL...
which is like saying he wants to join a club that starts with Arse, and ends with "nal"...

what a summer we've had! are we going to buy players from the sale of ruud and ron or are the glazers gonna cough up some cash? those fat cats haven't even made an indication as yet. anyways it is in our best interest to see ac milan and juventus relegated as we can get good players for cheap ( or so i hope). gatusso and pirlo as said before wud be nice. torres by the sounds of it is going to be at old trafford next season, it leaves us with THAT MIGHTY RM SPOT. it is so tragic that when ever we find a replacement for one key spot, we have to find one for another soon after. (LB,GK..). if ribery is a united player then we will have done exceptionally well, but i rather ron and ribery in one side playing together.

Havent been here for quite a long time busying with the exam and the WC.

I just want to say about the 'Ronaldo and Rooney issue'...

In Hong Kong, people were cursing Ronaldo like hell and they all think Ronaldo kicked England out and he will never be forgave.

I can see the reason, Hong Kong had been Britain's colony before 1997 for 99 years, and so many, really many people in Hong Kong including me like England and England NT. But I dont think Ronaldo was that bad, he did dive but what he said to the ref would do nothing to the ref's decision and the red card.

Btw, have you seen the new home kit? I saw a photo of Park wearing one and I cant imagine thats the one posted here long time ago with the old club badge.

dude needs to pay more attention in history classes
hong kong was the Brit's colony since 1842, its been 155 years
the 99 years was counted from the date when the Brit started "renting" the New Territory

Stop the moaning guys, I'm sure that Fergie knows what he's doing, I bet Kuszczak will make a good winger or a DM. £4m for number 3 goalie isn't that much either...

Kuszczak will be our Number 2 keeper behind VDS, Foster will go back on loan for Watford. I think it's clear that Foster is the long term replacement for VDS, but i'm willing to give Kuszczak and see what he can offer us.

Great... another GK... one that didnt get to play in the WC..
Ryan Giggs didn't get to play in the world cup, does that mean he's not worthy of playing for us either?

Stop whining, the transfer window is open till the end of next month. We also need a back-up GK, especially after Howard has been loaned out and Ben Foster set to be loaned out again too (and he still is to young for the EPL)

Spot on!

He's not too young, just not developed and experienced enough to be a United number 2 imo. He'll benefit so much more from playing first team games in the EPL for Watford, and in the long run we'll benefit from his extra experience.

Giggs and Kuszczak are 2 completely different matters. Wales never qualified for the WC. Poland did, but still Kuszczak is the second keeper to Artur Boruc :S
