i personally think that Kleberson wasn't given enough opportunity. I think he could've been great for us :(

It's good that we are still after English players. It is a disgrace that English topclubs especially Arsenal and Chelsea only get their players from abroad
We have 6 english first teamers to your 7, or 6.5 really since one is Kieron Richardson

now ronaldo says if he stays he's fine with it. woo hoo....

i think carrick only is not the solution to our midfield problem, we need a gattuso in there aswell. personally i wud like to see this season as rossi's debut first team season. if ron and roo can do it why not rossi.

How did Gravensen go in RM?
If we get Carrick, not sure how useful Gravensen would be ... We will only have 2 centre midfielder, and I am fairly sure Scholes will start if available.

Carrick has age on his side and is a talent, so I rather have carrick if its a pick between the two.

Personally I think if he is committed once he's back, its definitely a good thing for us

That would depend alot of whether he is available. Unless Milan gets the drop, he is defnintely not available. And even if he is available, we'll have quite a fight on our hands to get him..

Rossi's not as well built. I wouldnt mind see him play, but I dont think he'll be a regular starter just yet...

Graveson is a good EPL player, but in the long run he's not the answer. I wanted him to come to United back in January, but mainly as a patchup player until the summer. Now I feel there are/were better options than him.

Yeah, we have WAAAAAAY better options, namely Mascherano, Yaya Toure, Gattuso...you know, the names we bandy about on the forums but never get signed in real life.

hey guys, it seems that fulham's steed malbranque will leave fulham sooner or leter.

what would your views be upon him?
he has proved himself in the epl.has great pace, can score great goals.
he has never dissapointed.
if we end up with no one, then certainly making a move for steed to fill up the right flank can be a decent move.

I believe that Diarra and Ribbery are the 2 midfielders who can be the answer to our problems. Carrick's transfer fee is too much for his quality.

It looks like Ruud is on his way out, any news on Torres?

Ruud leaving basically means Torres is coming. Why the ":(" ?

I should :(

Losing Ruud does not mean we'll get Torres...
Just look where Ronaldinho and Beckham is...

We have a tendency to sell players without getting a proper replacement..

There's still a chance to sign Diarra, according to himself, he could move away from Lyon;

Don't know why, but I am not too keen about us signing African players...
If they become integral to the team, we'll miss them when they go on internationals...
If they dont become integral, then they are obviously a waste of money...

honestly, replacing Beckham with Ronaldo was a good move. So I guess - Ruud, + Torres.

Its really weird why suddenly everything has been silent on him.

Diarra surely won't be a waste of money, one of the best DM's around

It would be quite interesting to compare the number of assists and goals Becks got in the last few years at the club and the number Ronaldo got...

Anyone got any ideas? Or where I can find out?

Yeah i agree, that means we'll be missing him quite badly when he goes to play for his NT.. Not sure buying players that will definitely be missing during the season is the best idea...

ar well... still beats relying on Fletcher i guess... :nape: :nape:

If we have to pay the £25mill+ that Lyon initially wanted for Diarra that would for sure be a waste of money. He's good but he's not worth THAT much.

I believe Beckham gets more assists while Ronaldo scores more goals. You also have to remember that although they're both wingers, they play different roles. Becks is a midfielder and Ronaldo is more of a forward.
