Valencia are ready to make a cash-plus-player offer for Manchester United winger Cristiano Ronaldo.

Los Che sports chief Amadeo Carboni is on the verge of closing a deal for Benfica winger Simao Sabrosa and Valencia president Juan Soler is prepared to immediately offer him to United in part-exchange for Ronaldo.

Carboni left Lisbon yesterday morning after almost two days of negotiations with Benfica. The final agreement will be worth ?12 million cash, with Simao having agreed terms on a four-year contract, worth ?1.7 million-a-season.

so anyone got the new kit yet? i picked up about 30 minutes agomon me lunch break :-) its well snazzy got it from sports soccer (English store) for the princly sum of £31.49 which is decent in my book like. tried it on it the toilets at work, its a really nice ****, fits really well and definatly looks better on that it does ont he pictures of the shirt by its self. the gold trim around the AIG logo as well is a nice touch makes it feel a bit classer than the 3 letter in a box should. the colour aswell is a lot darker than i was expecting, its quiet a deep red, prob the darkest red we've had the shirt for a good few decades. all in all im well pleased with it, now just have to wait till the away one comes out

probably to talk to Chel$ki tho, dont Corinthians have some dodgy dealings with investment from MSI (i think its that) who are supposdly owned by one mr abramoich? i remember there being some furore over their msi financed capture of tevez. and yes mascherano would be a good singing

Yeah, it is quite interesting and mysterious, just like the dude in the first post said, maybe SAF knows something we don't and then again we have been playing a lot with the youngsters. SAF himself has been to relaxed on the transfermarket and there must be a reason for that, off-loading Ruud doesn't seem to hurt him a bit

yeah that is correct even do they denie it,but lets say mascherano agent was seen in england,i really doubt he would be going to chelsea,they are full up they cant fit cole,robben,essien,ballack,makelele,abd lamps in one midfield and also mourinho said he only wants 9 subs and the youth players for the upcoming season he wants players out rather then in
