Scored the goal against Chelsea in the all-star match. He's also the best player on the Houston Dynamo :rockman:

DDR is a good player, Houston is pretty much the only MLS team I watch, and San Jose was the only team I watched regularly before they moved to Houston.

I'd love a Hargreaves transfer, obviously Diarra doesn't want in, and between Hargreaves for 15m and Senna for 8m, I'd take Owen.

So I just bought the new United kit in the states. Wondering if some of you guys in England can tell me about the version over there. Think it is any different this time around, just like we saw with the 04-06 kits? The AIG logo is just an acrylic sticker for me, you guys? Also, some pics of the mesh under the armpits would be cool.

Hargreaves played pretty well today, he played the full 90 in the center, first with Lampard and then with Gerrard when Lamps was subbed off. Hopefully Bayern will decide that they shouldn't keep him at the club when he doesn't want to stay.

All Hargreaves has to do now is to keep this level of play when he gets the chance to join us, he would be great for us, together with Carrick and Scholes, we can have a very dangerous and creative midfield

hargreves is a good player but lets face it before the WC most english fans didnt like him he has played 3 good games for england and a steady performer at munich and u guys go on as if he is gods gift to us

Bayern can't sell him at this time of the season.

1. There are no decent replacements available and if they let Owen go without buying a big name player our general manager's gonna get lynched.
2. Like I mentioned earlier, the RVN saga plays a big role here. Bayern would have accepted a Ruud + cash for Owen deal, Man United wanted the cash to go the other way.

You know professional footballers these days. Raise his wages, give him a guaranteed starting spot and all of a sudden he's the happiest man on earth again. :rolleyes:

He's just signed a new contract, maybe he should have thought about that earlier. It's the first time in his six-year spell at Bayern that he will be a starter and more than just a role player.


Bayern general manager Uli Hoeneß has quashed speculation that Owen Hargreaves could be leaving Bayern for the English Premiership, despite the 25-year-old's revelation that he is considering a "fantastic" offer from Manchester United.

"We're not interested. Owen has a contract until 2010 and he will see it out. The issue is closed," Hoeneß declared on Wednesday afternoon.

:( I've always been a fan of Hargreaves since he first appeared in the England setup, although he never really got much of a chance i always admired his determination to always give everything. He would be so perfect for us it's unbelievable :(

How about we give you Jones, Miller, Rossi and whoever else you want on loan? :p
