Roy and Micheal are totally two different players, one a true defensive midfielder
Danny Simpson is a much better player and probably doesn't give it large or acts like bit of a twat in public. Bardsley was given an opportunity at Rangers, Le Guen put alot of faith in him to do the business and was handed an immediate run in the side, only to have it thrown it back in his face. The fact that he couldn't be arsed to give Roy Keane a simple call to say he'd been offered first-team football at another Premiership club says a whole lot about Bardsley. Might not be a bad thing if he stays at Villa.Dazmania;2252719 said:Bardsley is going off on loan to Villa after we've played them in the next 2 games. Will be great to see him hopefully playing consistently in the Premiership with Martin O'Neill. Future Gaz replacement
I personally prefer the way that Bardsley plays; the aggression and bravery he puts in reminds me of Gaz and i like that in a player. And the two most suited people around to sort out attitude problems are Martin O'Neill and Fergie, and he's now working with both of them. Though Simpson also looks like a great prospect and having him as an extra choice at full-back will be a huge benefit - similar to having Gabby and Evra on the left who both offer the team different things. Though Wes is a reliable replacement at Right-Back when Gaz is out at the mo tbh.shokz;2252984 said:Danny Simpson is a much better player and probably doesn't give it large or acts like bit of a twat in public. If Neville can't sort out his recurring injury problems then I can see Simpson being given a chance to make the right-back position his next season. The defence cannot build an understanding if one position is chopping and changing every week.
