thanks for the info friend. i just don't care about EPL's issues. no crash is great and i'll play on Korean League of MLS anyway....

btw I am using the Russian patch and I am sure UK version is also the same coz both have same size and both have this weird opening dialog

You are liar, big liar. I have also the original one, I tested also russian EA patch and EA worldwide one. Take Blackpool in Manager mode and you will see how liar you are spammerkid. Try to see statistics and you will see Birminham twice, in manager mode, not in tournament. Try to play in manager mode in lower english divisions. You will see teams appearing twice in each division and also teams missing.

Stop please posting false documentations. You are realy dangerous because you persuade people try patches that are not as good as you claim.

And here is the true: If you are right, please upload for us somewhere this "wonderful" patch" tha you in all planet use without bugs and we shall make a golden statue for you.

well there is definitely a manager mode bug in the patch. since ian jarvis himself has found the bug in the patch and promised to work on a fix for the fix, let's hope the bug of two birmingham is fixed.

A tip I am using waiting a worthy EA patch:

1) Install the game from the beginning (other option: copy and paste in the main directory the originals from DVD data0,1,2,3.big and the data0,1,2,3bh and the fifa.exe (original in DVD not any false). Do not use any pirated engine in this fase.
2)download and install DBM 11 of Rinaldo. Copy in desktop the big file database is in. then open DBM 11 and "extract from big" main and local databases. save and close tool.
3) run the patch. ok
4) delete the data.big where db was inside and replace with this you have put in desctop.
that's it!!! you have the 70% of the new patch (scoreboard, Ati settings, wheather...) and no dupbilated teams.
note: all these guys who do not use original fifa, they have now to restore fifa.exe legal or not that was working before all these steps.

it isnt only Birmingham... they are more double teams..

what I can clearly suppose and support. If wrong, just tell me.

1) EA Sports has not testers, has not the proper persons to work on their plans. They made a patch and released it without having tested at all. I can say here that the "animals to test on" is me and you!
2) EA is messed up. No synchronization either about the full game release or the date of patch release.
3) It would be better for EA not to release this patch. But managed to destroy the most worldwide popular leagues in manager mode, english leagues.English soccerfans are socked and anglosaxons consider this issue as abuse. They prefere to unistall the game than play this piece of art.
4) EA managed to destroy the impressive icon of the best looking and first NG game ever. A kind of suicide.

do not do this in bolds if u do not get. but it is important to have made the first (before patching) database out in a folder using DBM11

ok i re-installed fifa 11 pc, and added patch, i have the bought game.

When installing patch i get a error: failure renaming file <--anyone knows why? :(

Guys this is where I got my patch. I don't if it was already posted here. If so, forgive the spam if it was already posted here.

It was released maybe one or two days before they officially announce the patch. I think it came from EA Russia, I'm not really sure. You need to have a clean install of your fifa or just replace the bh and big file you modded if you had backed up the original files. As far as I know you can play Blackpool in MM. So there is no duplicate Birmingham City. So I hope there are no other duplicate teams like what Erevos said here.

I've made screenshots for you to see that I'm playing Blackpool in Manager Mode.
