about screen resolution:
as already told, my graphicscard crashed and I had to reactivate an old ATI Expert-card which is very slow and low quality in 1024-resolution
Therfore I cant make PopUps for higher resolution, as I cant even test them on my PC... :(

Anyway German Bundesliga is nearly done and will be send to some testers tommorow :)

he says , that he must have an appropriate *.ffn file from an older fifa version to change the font

Actually, you can get some different ffn files from other EA Sports Games as well, for example in the NHL series.

This is NOT a German thread. The main language in this thread, as I can see at the moment is English, but if this do not continue, then there will be a problem.

This is a English forum, and all threads should be mainly in English. As long as the main language is English, a few German sentences (words) here and there, that's ok. Same with the Portuguese thread. But in a English forum, we DO NOT have threads where only people who knows a certain language can contribute.

If you would like to speak to individuals specifically, and not post anything useful in English, you can use the Private Message system. It is there for many reasons, and this is one.

English being the main language in a English forum is the only fair way of doing things, since we do not want a whole board full of threads in all different languages.

and then we can also speak german, and my english is not so good, i*ve problems wehen i must say 4 sentences ! because we've damn english teachers!

The german Fifa-City became a mess just because of this ignorant behaviour. Most of the usefull threats over there end up in stupid offenses. :(

Good to know you will care that the same wont happen here !





about fonts:

I already tried some fonts (*.ffn -files) from other EASports games, like the older Fifa-titles or SUPERBIKE e.g. when I edited PopUps for Fifa2002, but most of them made Fifa crash.

In data\feart there are 3 engfont-files which all have the same font, but in different size I guess, so I use the biggest font for the popup (just by renaming the files)

I guess Ariel used a complete new font for socceracces WC-Patch, but I have no idea where he got this file from.


I will send the popup-files now and hope you all test them hard to find any bugs ;)

Please report them with screenshot and maybe a note about the situation.
