i dont knw if he was the best, he had to get it once. and maybe its the best time considering he wont last long.

i feel stephen ireland had a better season than ashley young though. should have got the award IMO.

This year the whole thing has been laughable. From the nominations to the eventual winners it has been laughable.

Giggsy does deserve an award, I don't think there is a fan anywhere that wouldn't agree to that, but it should be a lifetime achievement award, because he certainly didn't earn player of the year this season. It's hard to believe that he's never won it though. Thats just crazy. Great player.

Although Giggs is one of the very few scum I don't hate, this was nothing more than a sympathy award for his career. Didn't he start like 12 games in the league?

And Ireland not winning Young Player of the Year is a joke.

Yes it is. Ireland has been incredible this season. His work rate alone could win him the award.
