o come on why are you hating on pauleta hes a lone striker, can u honestly tell me when he had the ball they dont use him they just send long balls for him to catch or cross the ball to him when theres 3 defenders on him, we cant use him, just like when we took him out and ronaldo played forward ronaldo was no where to be found, we cant use our forwards we dont know how it has nothing to do with pauleta

Watch the match again. Everytime Pauleta had the ball he lost it, he can't dribble or pass it decently. I mean, he just loses the ball like 90% of the time when it reaches him in conditions. At least Nuno Gomes manages to protect it better than him and he has way better vision and passing accuracy.

about Pauleta, he really is underperforming.
many other teams play a lone striker too, the thing is that they have someone who can control the ball, hold it while waiting for support, etc.
Pauleta's been looking to have bricks for feet.
plus he's offside so many times, f'cking annoying.
he just seems lost out there.

Pauleta and Postiga are 2 totally useless players IMHO
i can't understand why Scolari doesn't play Nuno Gomes, instead he plays Postiga who at the moment plays even worst than me, and i'm terrible playing football :X
Pauleta may be in a hard position to get the ball, he's always surrounded by opponents, but i think Nuno Gomes would do a better job there

every time I see Postiga play, I get even more admiration for Mourinho. The only time he ever did anything good was while under Mourinho's coaching at Porto, ever since he's been absolute sh!t.

Yeah, that's what i think also shinji, same goes to Marco Ferreira that was a very good sub in the year of the Uefa Cup, even Ricardo (Jesus) Fernandes was good... Is he Ricardo Fernandes? The blond hair guy that looked like Jesus... Great left foot...
