I don't care if it's true or not, but any nation that would purposely lose and giving up on a chance to enter the World Cup is doing the most retarded thing in the world, and I don't believe for a second that a decision to throw a game would be made when there are at least 30-40 people in on it, either of whom can say that it's retarded.

I also just realised something. Let-s say that in some distorted way the Albanians did want to throw the game, you're saying that they did it in the riskiest way possible? Waiting for the final minute, in an attack Portugal might not have even made, instead of just gifting an early goal (which eould be understandable, it's Portugal vs Albania) and hanging on until the end. If they're so good that they can simply decide when the opposition will score against them, surely this would be an easier solution?
But it'd obviously make more sense to have that young 7 year old Albanian's joy shattered by a late goal. Perfect sense.
