I wouldn't argue with that. But Terry contributes more to the team than Ricci does.
Personally I don't think there's a centreback out there that can do more than Carvalho. He reads the game well, he's a fantastic marker and has good timing. He has everything and he's also good on the ball and knows when to go forward. He's got goals and assists to his name, and not just through set-pieces, and I've seen him join the attack many times without ever getting caught out of position.
It's a shame he won't have many years ahead of him, although I would love for him to pull a Maldini.
