Is Humberto Coelho too old for it?

Mourinho? :(

Me? (H)

Paulo Bento though, the man should have a real sense of Selecção, and he tends to be a supporter of young talent. Only time ill tell, though.

I've comented in their Facebook page saying we could give a whole set of other reasons not to pick Bento...

Yeah I reckon he's not worse than Coelho, only time will tell...

You have to realize though, FFT's Portugeezer isn't very good.

tbh I am kind of clueless concerning who I'd like to see as our new coach.
from the names being rumoured I think it'd make sense giving another chance to Humberto since he actually did a solid job in the 2000 campaign.

I know I'd like to see someone like Figo at the helm of the FPF though, just not too sure if he'd go for it .

Humberto has been crap in his latest endeavours though, maybe he's a bit out of touch. Aye, definitely Figo would be great. Maybe if he brought Paulo Sousa? And Baía? Maybe even João ******* Pinto! Hell, I'd definitely like to see that whole generation at the front of Portuguese football.

why not...Sousa is kind of ******* up with Leicester anyway, Baía left the Porto board in the Summer and I'm pretty sure JVP would trade his sh'tty job on TV for a spot in the FPF board in a blink of an eye...his past antics in the NT would probably be an obstacle to the move though:

**** that, that asshole deserved that punch! (H) I say bring them all, with a decent plan to revitalize Portuguese football from the ground up, namely youth-NT squads and preparation for the main team, and I'm all for it!

LMAO

Maradona LOL

I would like the idea of someone like Humberto in front of the NT and as assistant coach people like Figo, Paulo Sousa, or other glorious portuguese players.

I don't get it, why is Madaíl still taking any kind of decisions for our NT since he's about to (finally) **** off?
Before the coach is chosen there should be a definition about who are the people that are gonna run the FPF, makes sense to me...what a mess :nape:

Mourinho kindly pushed the final decision for Real already knowing that they are going to reject this "proposal"....in the end they're just not being stupid.

He shouldn't come. I hope he doesn't. Just let him win whatever he wants to win with Real with peace of mind. Like Figo said, "if I want any problems I'll return to Portugal. If I want to not live quietly and calmly with my family I'll return to Portugal.". F*ck us.

imagine if he came and managed to win none of the games (not hard to happen considering our current NT is crap), the Mourinho myth would suffer a huge blow...why would he even want to risk that happening.
