Is that why Luis Figo led our entire team in assists both in La Liga and Champions' League?

Liga (Assists)
Ronaldo: 8
Zidane: 4
Guti: 4
Raul: 3
Beckham: 3
Figo: 3
Owen: 3
RC: 2

Figo was great, we all agree. Changes need to be made though...a 31 year old RM who is complaining about playing time is something we don't need right now. That's why we're gonna sign Joaquin/C.Ronaldo...He is a legend and the fact that he switched sides. HAHA! :hump:

Good luck, where ever he goes. :)

I'm really afraid of how Robinho would fit in Real Madrid. I know he playing amazing in Brasil league, but there is way easier for player like him than in Europe. Someone could say that Carlos is also small player and he played great in Europe, but Robinho is even smaller (is that possible:rolleyes:), and he's not so strong as Roberto.

yeah, he's so skinny :(. But he can go to dinner with Ronaldo, i'm sure he will gain a lot of weight there (6).

Owen is small and skinny too, but he's fast as hell, like Robinho, and the brazilian has more talent. We should wait and see, i'm sure Luxemburgo will know what to do, he already coached Robinho in Brazil.

Real Madrid invite Juventus to bid for Samuel

Real Madrid are ready to listen to offers for defender Walter Samuel.

The Argentina international has failed to live up to his £18 million price-tag in his first season in Spain and Real intermediaries have been put on notice they're willing to do business over the former AS Roma defender.

Juventus coach Fabio Capello is a big fan of Samuel and is keen to be reunited with the stopper. Agents have already been notified of Real's willingness to discuss a deal - with a mooted swap involving Brazilian midfielder Emerson on the agenda for the Spanish giants.

Real GM Arrigo Sacchi is ready to cut his losses over Samuel, particularly as his Spanish passport won't arrive until Christmas, complicating the arrival of Brazilian winger Robinho from Santos.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

if we have to sell Samuel to get Robinho, there's nothing to discuss. Bye Walter :ewan:

as long as we get a new defender, it's ok to let him leave.

Oh hell no! Not my boy Walter, he's one of my favorite defenders in the world...and I know he is really unhappy at Madrid. He's always wanted to play in Italy but he came to Madrid 'cause, well you can't say NO to Madrid. (H)

I think it's time to mention...maybe, Rio Ferdinan

...Glazer said he wants to sell him. :jambo:

Roberto Carlos will get his citizenship in July or August, so we won't need to sell Samuel to get Robinho :jap:

So the rumor is only because R.C. didn't have a citizenship? I though he was really upset and STILL hasnt' bought a house in Madrid. (C)

i respect your opinion on Figo.

now just to warn you. Diego was supposed to be huge, but he wasn't that great in an inferior league compared to the Sapnish. Don't get your hopes up on Robinho.

Diego wasn't bad, but i expected alot more

yeah, we know... but Luxemburgo knows him very well, and i guess Robinho will start in bench. In Diego's case, he didn't fulfill the expectations because he had to replace Deco, who was amazing at Porto, and people thought he was going to be as good as him. Diego is a very good player, but there was too much pressure on him.

we can't play with 12 players :fool:

we won't get Maldonado because he doesn't have an european passport :(. Instead, Real Madrid will sign Pablo Garcia. imo, he's not as good as Maldonado, but he would be a nice add to our team. The agreement would be public after the Copa del Rey final (June 11th).

i think Luxemburgo will use Raul as midfielder next season, so we will have 2 forwards (Ronaldo and Owen, i hope) and 3 players who could play as midfielders or forwards (Raul, Guti, Robinho), because Portillo would be loaned to Zaragoza :jap: . I really hope Owen stays, he has been great in his first season at Spain, but RM could sell Owen for around 23m euros after his performance vs Colombia.. I wouldn't sell him even for 30m, because we would have only 1 forward (Ronie) if he leaves, and there aren't too many great forwards in the market to replace him. Besides, Guti could leave for 20m euros :(. The club is counting with him for next season, but if he wants to go, and someone offers 20m or more for him, Real Madrid would let him go :nape: .

Maldonado > P.Garcia ; Maldonado is younger and improving. Besides I don't want to take away the best player from "el Vasco" Aguirre, only if he gets a new job in La Liga with another team...will I be ok with the signing of Garcia.

- Will Portillo be starting @ Zaragoza?
- Woddy's improving his shape and practicing, ain't he? :D

I have a doubt.... why do you need another winger if you have Beckham I mean look him play to Madrid and then look him in England NT, he already improved in Madrid i know but he always do a wonderful job in England NT, so i dont see anymore the need of bid Joaquin or C Ronaldo, but if u want a winger i rather Cristiano cuz he can play both sides, See ya!!! :ewan:

It's good, but unfortunately, in the sport of soccer you are not allowed to play with 12 players. The teams are allowed to play with 11 in total; 10 out and 1 goalkeeper.
