I think Baptista is good sign. He is great add to our midfield both defensive and offensive. I feel sorry for Guti, but if he stay he should be first Zidane changer. Zizou is old and fatigue fast so it would happen often.

Looks good, indeed only a decent CB is needed IMO now - and Owen must stay.

Boy, you're very pessimistic. Don't worry. Baptista is an excellent addition. Check out some of the lineups we've made up. If we expect to win titles we need a strong squad like this. If Mourinho can keep everyone happy at Chelsea than Luxe has to do the same thing at Real.

Guys, I thought the Trident of Rauol, Ronaldo, Owen worked very well in the second half of last season and now Baptista will probably sit Owen.

i'm realistic

i said a zillion times than i didn't want Baptista because he isn't the kind of player we need: he's cocky, self-centered, a money-whore, etc. If he doesn't start too often, he will whine... A LOT. He's a bad apple and he's a non-EU player. my god, we could had use more wisely those 20m euros.

and Owen will leave. he will be the 4th or 5th striker now (Ronaldo, Robinho, Baptista, Raul, Owen, Soldado), and if Ronaldo gets injured, who would you think Luxa will choose to replace him? a fellow countryman that he wanted to sign, or a quiet little english man, who won't say anything if he stays in bench?
