we got to discuss this.. of course Robinho will take a place in the starting 11.
but who should Luxa bench? i know most of you will say Raúl cause he plays like crap. but just think about it.. i think benching Raúl would be a major blow to the team because i think hes important on the field. how will players like Ronaldo, Carlos, Helguera react if there captain was benched? i dont think it would be good. but thats just my opinion.
and was he really that crappy today?

Zidane should be benched and come on in like 60th minute.
i think that he will be best like that.

he slows down the attack. and his passing has gotten worse. i wasnt too impressed today.

Raúl played almost all of 04-05 season in midfield. now all of a sudden Luxa wants him as a striker again. give him time to adapt.

let's discussssssssssssssssssssssssssssss.... :)

Ive already given my point, the problem was the midfield, and more concretely Zizou, who misses like 10 easy passes per match and slow down the whole game.

The only logical answers right now would be either Zidane or Raul. Maybe Baptista if he doesn't accustom well to the left(though I am pretty sure he will aslong he stays as a LCM and not a winger)

I don't know, it's a very hard choice

OMG i couldnt see the game but wat i am hearin from u guys is a fantastic start by robinho!!

im sad that owen wont have a chance this season :nape:

i think we should stick with the formation we have now, atleast for a while. but, Robinho should come on at around the 60th minute for Zidane, so it livens up a bit more again. Raul cant be benched, not because of club politics, but because he is the captain, and the leader of the team, even if he plays crap, he still leads the team.

Yes, Raul is the player that offers more support to other attackers in a match, and is continously offering himself; and yeah, i think he has enough endurance for keep running 90' (Obviously more than Zizou), and great passing skills and game vision (things that u can lose form 1 year to another, is just like riding a bycicle).

And he wasnt crap today: he didnt miss clear chances, easy passes, etc. He had a low presence cause the midfield didnt work.

we cant keep Robinho on the bench for Zidane. we simply cant.

He needs to start!

as soon as he entered he created several chances, by just a few little moves.
Zidane assisted Ronie to 1-0, but thats about it.

and are we all agreed on that benching Raúl is out of the question?

Yep, and all players around seem to be better, even Baptista had a clear chance. And thats a characteristic of great players.

And what u guys think about Owen not been in the bench today? Is this the definitive end?

Starting XI
i think so. maybe its the best for Owen. but i hope for his sake that he doesnt end up in Newcastle. they suck. 0 goals in 3 matches.

who was in the bench today, really?

i saw Robinho, De La Red, Raul Bravo and Portillo. was Woody and Diogo even there?

and about Ronie's new celebration.. i like it. but what can he mean by it tho? was funny seing Robinho doing at the bench too eheh.

Cadena SER interviews Sergio Ramos, he really talked about leaving Sevilla, not the typical stuff of "Madrid is a good team" "every player would like to join Madrid blablabla".

It seemed very clear Madrid will go for Ramos, after selling Owen (prolly to Lpool cause they wanna sell Cisse right?)

Was the interview in El Larguero?

After the Half time of Cadiz vs Madrid. Sergio Ramos basically said that all is in the hands of his brother (his representant , dunno if is the correct spelling). And for 1st time really looked like Ramos was nervous and almost wanting to show he is unhappy at Sevilla.

this is Florentino's chance to fullfill his promise to us, that is buying a spanish player.
i dont think it will happen tho. maybe next season.

what did Robinho do? other than a few stepovers and the mis-control in top of the box until Ronaldo took it from him at full speed.. because that was not a pass, and Robinho did not see Ronaldo coming..

I wasnt impressed.. Madrid has a lot of problems, but they have too many quality players than any given moment can score a goal. Baptista was lost, Zidane was slow, Raul, well he was running around as usual, Gravesen, Pavon and Salgado were a foul making machine, I cant believe Salgado didnt get a yellow, as usual Casillas had a big part in the win.

yes they got 3 pts.. but how long can you spend so much money in players, just to keep scrapping by against teams? Seeing a team like Madrid play counter attack style is kinda sad, imo. Too many good players talents going to waste. Look at your lineup, don't you think that they should be able to play better?

Tell that to Luxemburgo. I prefer a offensive team 100%, and Madrid is a offensive team always! but when is winning is more like an Italian team.

2 years ago everybody was saying Valencia was maybe the best team of Europe and they was playing counter-attack.
