I read in the confirmed transfer threads that Ronaldo is staying at Man U with a new and improved 5 year contract.

With Joaquim seeming more and more unlikely, we really should keep Figo. All Luxe has to do is rotate the squad every now and then.

Cris is an awesome defender. He would be a great buy. I love the skillful Brazillian defenders, although a rock in defense would truely benefit u guys. Other options shud b considered.

Liverpool cancelled more or less all their pre-season friendlies becuase they have to go trough 3 qualifing rounds to reach the CL groupstage.

Figo is not gone yet and as far as he's concerned, he's ready to play for Real Madrid next year. Whether or not he will is still up for speculation.

actually, loan Samuel to Inter wouldn't be a bad idea. we could call him back in January (like we did with Portillo) if we need him, and we wouldn't lose him.

the other news seem stupid: why, oh why, we would want more CBs if (supposedly) we want to get rid of one (Samuel) to get Ramos?

he plays in Sao Paulo (they're in Copa Libertadores semifinals), he's from Uruguay (like Diogo and Pablo Garcia) and he's a CB. i haven't seen him playing (well, i guess i have, but i can't remember...)
