Comparison
Barcelona sucks. Real Madrid not.
The end
you could start with Di Stefano: how Santiago Bernabeu 'stole' him from Barcelona and the consequences of that (Real Madrid success in Europe, Barcelona signing Kubala, the big rivalry in the 60s...).
Then:
- the relation of each club with Franco
- Real Madrid/Spain in opposite as Barcelona/Catalunya (the different point of views of 'nacionalism')
- The golden/dark eras of each club (i.e., La Quinta del Buitre, the Dream Team, etc)
- Players who have played in both clubs (Schuster, Laudrup, Ronaldo, Figo) and their impact. Just the important ones, not pieces of crap like Celades or Luis Enrique
- the football academies each clubs have opened around the world
- the usual BS facts about the stadiums, legends, etc
and so on...
i saw a documentary in The History Channel a couple weeks ago that would help you a lot. but i don't know what was its title it was like 'Biggest Rivalries of Soccer' or something, because they also showed Flamengo-Vasco and Boca-River.
