I can't understand why you all blame Luxa - yes he did some mistakes but wtf about the players ? there were seldom moving if the don't have the ball

for about the first 5 -10 minutes of the game i thoght we were playing well but after that we looked pretty bad. the firing of luxa should make facenside very happy because he has had "luxa get the hell out already" above his avatar for a couple of weeks now

Real played like sh*t again, and i think now we have all the right to blame Luxa...So from my part he can f*ck off!

Get back our Del Bosque!!! Or go for Hiddink!!!

But what if another coach comes in and it is still the same ****ty performance, are you still going to blame the coach or is it just the players?

Haha you're right m8. In fact I started to dislike him last year, when he ignored Guti besides he was being one of best players in the first leg of the seasson.

BTW I'm watching a Castilla match right now; they're winning away, and they haven't lost any of their last 6 matches. They make a very good football, and their coach, Lopez Caro, is the most likely one to sub Luxa.

I would feel confident with him in the first team's bench, he's a maniac of tactics; doesn't stop giving indications in the whole match, writing everything in a notepad... Though he likes to play with wingers, what is difficult in our 1st team, due to the structure of the squad.

exactly

the players on this team are not accountable

5 coaches since del bosque was sacked, unbelievable :kader:

The final desicison will be made at 19:00 CET when the baord have a meeting. but Luxemburgo will most likely get sacked and Castilla coach Lopéz Caro will take over the team until they get a new one.

BRING BACK DEL BOSQUE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i didnt see the match because they showed Bilbao-Patetico instead. :kader:
im happy that Ronie scored. he needs to get his form back. from what i heard, he played quite well.

most important is that we won. but now the big question is.. will sacking Luxa help?

i was afraid that Florentino would make all his stars travel to Athens on tuesday. luckily that isnt the case. Olympiakos-Real Madrid will be a very interesting match. look at the squad. :)

Diego López and Codina
Sergio Ramos, Raúl Bravo, Diogo, Pavón, Mejía and Arbeloa
Gravesen, Tebar, De la Red, Javi García, Balboa, Adrián Martín and Jurado
Robinho, Baptista, Soldado and Barral

Robinho would have needed a rest tho. :nape:

the sad thing is, you'll probably win with that squad. these players (except bravo) all have things to prove, and don't have first team immunity like the rest of the slackers. watch, you'll win this game comfortably.

robinho's agent says Raul , Helguera, and Pavon are boycotting Luxa and the Brazilian players....no wonder Luxa is going to get fired! Raul owns this club....I say get rid of the 3 (H) JK

Luxa's firing wont do a thing. Luxa came on and did great winning 7 straight and that 6 minutes game. When he had his walkie talkie he ruled. Now another coach will come and do absolutely nothing unless the players are held accountable for not passing and running when theyre on the pitch

I'd be interested to know from you which are the top and flop 5 players so far this season for real.

anyone have highlights of the getafe game?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

Madrid have 3 top players:

Casillas - he saves the game- consistently in good form
Beckham - because he's the only one who runs
Ronaldo - He's the only one who can score and beat defenders, and is on good form consistently.

BTW Guti shouldve scored that gol!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! a 2-0 and Luxa wouldnt have been fired

I don't understand this....are you all going nucking futs?? At least let the guy finish the first half of the season, frig, you can't blame him for all the injuries! Yes, i know he caused the team to play too defensively in the second half, and he DID sub off Ronaldo but think about this for a second :-
1) The team was down to 10 men ie superiority in numbers for the opposing team who WAS showing fight before this happened, and im not so convinced it was deserving of a red card

2) The guy who got sent off happens to be one of the most important players in our lineup...not only by reputation, i repeat, not only by reputation or marketability, he was fvcking running all over the place trying to engineer goals, playing well ALTHOUGH BEING PLAYED OUT OF POSITION ( Jeez i never thought i'd see the day when i would defend beckham, i never really liked him). He also is our main set piece man

3)In the circumstances (i understand supporters concerns that we're slowly developing into a brazilianbased, italian-styled team) a WIN was most imperative yesterday, more so than(and i may regret saying this) attractive or overattacking football, which may have (admittedly)given us more goals, perhaps more confidenceas we would be playing our natural game, but also would have opened us up widely for counterattacks. We all saw that Riki was playing great, and defense is not RM's strong point, perhaps even less so with Pavon's presence . With a squad that isn't quite gelling, and a couple(perhaps three) players not quite match fit Luxa couldn't take much risks...if Getafe equalised, we would have been in ****

4)(concerning Ronaldo's sub) Ronaldo came back prematurely for the Barcelona game IMO(i admit its quite easy to say that after having seen what came of his return then).
He then suffered a relapse or strain of his injury, probably as a result of his return for that game. Let's face it, with or without Raul, Ronaldo IS our main target man, and he showed it yesterday. Left up to me, i would also sub him off, to get some rest, to ensure that he would remain fit for the next game. We (and by extension the Bernabeu crowd) shouldn't fault him for that, he was simply protecting his assets.

Let's be honest here...is this the correct time for our squad to have to get accustomed to another coach's style of play? I greatly fear that we may go down the Roma road if we do that.
OR on the other hand, has Luxa been given too many chances already? Take EVERYTHING he has done since coming to Real into consideration, please and let me know what u think.

I say keep him. I say florentino go talk to THE PLAYERS THEMSELVES, and backhand them for being so F'n lazy. Then Sacchi could backhand perez for his signings.

Madrid get pressured when they have the ball in the back field, and when that happens... :boohoo: they CANNOT move the ball upfield!! The midfield players chill and dont come back to show up for a pass, so the defense + Beckham are in the back third trying to make something happen for 20 minutes of the game.

If I was coaching against Madrid I would just say "man mark the whole team, they just stand around anyway, and when they have the ball in the back pressure the man marking, so they'll lose the ball".

in a related news: Ronaldo complains that the Madrid crowd are always against the team. "it feels like we're playing an away game" he says.....

Well, actually it would not be difficult cause at the moment Madrid hasn't got a style of play. I think the players are so confused that neither them know what to do over the field.

I hope Hitzfeld does not get himself into this mess. Terrible set of players with extremely high expectations and fans who have no patience. Real Madrid will need to be rebuilt and will need a coach like Mourniho who will tell management who he wants to bring in. Not have the idiot owner control everything and bring in more strikers.

The coach is always the weakest link.

After his comments on Madrid's transfer policy they won't take him.
