Roberto Carlos is still the best LB....

Its all moot anyway. If Zambro goes anywhere he goes to West London. He likes wearing blue (H)

seriously guys, why are you all taking as if EVERYONE is getting relegated? get the facts right. only Juve risk relegation.

Buffon and Zambro prefer Milan anyway. And Cannavaro and Nedved are staying.

The only ones available are Emerson, Vieira, Thuram. Even as we speak Im sure Juve wont get relegated.

You guys suck for hoping Juve to get relegated! Its supposed to be about the football, not about the selfishness of your own clubs :(

WHY the hell r u in here??

Go flood another thread with ur nonsense cuz no1 wants to hear it in this thread. And oh, stop lying to urself..cuz we all kno Juve r just f*cked and everyone is gonna leave the team..if i can even call them that. In fact, they're said to be relegated 2 leagues down and I'm damn happy that sumthin like that is bound to come true sooner or later.

No one gives a sh*t about the state of Juve or Serie A for that matter. All we care about is how fast the players will be fleeing and wanting to join other teams...one of the many being us.

Peace out...Il-Tsar?

Who said we are hoping anyone gets relegated? When this whole thing first came up I even posted that it would be a bit unfair to thier fans if Juve was relegated but if found guilty than they do deserve a punishment.

was part of this candidates platform bankrupting your club? :|

we'll be bringing in money by getting rid of players, we'd have plenty of money if we sold beckham and ronaldo
im not sure you'd have a buyer for either. Beckham is still quality, ill admit, but I cant think of a team where he would fit, or be welcomed. If ManU sell Ronaldo...maybe, but I doubt it.

Gordinho though youd have a whale of a time passing off for money. I think the guy should just be offered a nice retirement/severance package and be asked to head back to Brazil. I dont think ive seen him give an honest effort at anything in years

The only realistic star I see Real getting is Joaquin and maybe Reyes. Beyond that, I dont see anyone else. Cesc, Robben, Kaká.. meh.. I can assure you, at the end of the day, you guys WONT be disappointed with the signings you've made, but the signings wont be the ones promised.. instead its gonna be someone like Diarra.. Or that Gago guy.. Someone along those lines.

Even C. Ronaldo doesnt seem likely anymore.
thats probably the most rational post ive ever read by you. nice work, and I am in agreement in many places

Joaquin would be an especially quality signing for you guys, as would Reyes. Both young, both hungry, both cheap (joaquin's value has dropped way off) and both domestic. This team needs to go back to having a Spainish identity, and getting players who grew up in awe of the Madrid shirt is the best step you can take. And Capello will be a great move by your new President. A real manager who wont be handcuffed by politics.

If you got Reyes, your striking situation would be set and your left wing strengthened
Reyes, Cassano (not going anywhere now, im sure), Raul, Baptista, Robinho is a very solid core of forwards

In terms of right wingers, Joaquin > C. Ronaldo. I see a lot of benifits in getting Joaquin rather than C. Ronaldo, the biggest one being that it would be a lot cheaper by getting Joaquin.

Capello...I still dont think we should have him as manager. Its also interesting that we are linked to Robben/Kaka when Capello does not really like the fancy and or creative type of player. I also wonder how Robinho would fit in. Boring and defensive football here we come :borat:

I too think that Joaquin trumps Ronaldo. I think Ronaldo could blossom in Spain but that Joaquin would just be better for your needs. Not to mention cheaper.

I think despite your dislike of Capello's playing style, a no nonsense, structured type like him is whats needed right now. Playing nice football is one thing, but that comes naturally when you have skilled players. What you guys need is to win, and have a direction. A manager with pedigree, guts, and the balls to drop big names who arent getting it done is just what the doctor ordered.

I doubt you will be dropping many points against league minnows anymore

We will play good football as the time goes on. We have the players for it. If you have a player like Robinho, fun is garanteed!! But if Capello has the guts to bench him, then he should be killed! :junior: :junior:

AS reports today that Mijatovic is working on 7 players that Capello wants.
they are:

Cesc Fabregas CM (Arsenal)
Eric Abidal LB (Lyon)
Emerson DM (Juventus)
Alex CB (PSV)
Van Nistelrooy CF (Man United)
Diarra DM (Lyon)
Arjen Robben LW (Chelsea)

what i like about this is that Alex is considered 1st choice for CB. and Chivu 2nd.
Diarra is the primary target for the DM spot. Emerson is a target if the Diarra deal fails. however MARCA today: Capello wants Diarra, Emerson and Cesc!

i dont want Emerson, but he could be a good compliment to Diarra.

as for Van Nistelrooy. i hate the guy, but he is a notorious goal scorer. and that is what we need. rather him then Zlatan.

Abidal is thought to be RC's replacement. if he leaves for Chelsea.

Capello will sign a 3-year contract today and i hope we get some news about which players he want to keep and which ones he want out soon.

yes its official capello is the new coach, iam very happy about it the only problem is that he want jouqien i like him to but we doesnt want c.ronaldo, and ronaldo is my favorite player and i support real and man u so i he doesnt return to man u and not go to real then he will go to barca and that will be a nightmare for me

I'd rather have 2 real strikers than that many 2nd line forwards (:/)

I also hear that Mijatovic has ruled out getting Reyes or Joaquin. Yea I also heard about the Van Nistelrooy rumor as that is the #9 that Capello wants (:/)

that's a pretty good list, it's not all offensively focused as all the rumors have been

i like alex from psv a lot, that guy is built like a tank

not a huge fan of emerson or ruud, but they'd definitely help fill a role here

i am hoping we can still get joaquin, he appears to be leaving betis this summer and it'd be a shame if we didnt get him, he truly is a madridista already
