Anyone have the highlight of cicinho hitting the post with that crazy shot? I love this guy!! I cant wait for him to take over Cafu's duties!!

Anyway with that line up we would have a solid bench of:
Raul
Cassano
Baptista
etc..
etc..

A good rotaion wont happen, and thats cool because the team needs more chemistry than rest.

with all that said- our team has been winning 2 and screwing up for sometime now. We should worry about fixing that. We will use Betis as another morale booster, and training session. 1 thing though: our defense STILL sucks @$$!!!!!!!!! Who does Madrid need in order for that to be fixed? We let 2 gols and couldve allowed more.

I like helguerra on the bench! It seems we can turn defense into offense faster when he's on the bench.

I'm not mad at Baptista anymore. I see him really trying, but he seems to have absolutely zero luck. I'm starting to feel bad for him. I hope he can score this Wednesday.

Yea precisely, he s trying very hard to get the fans happy and he has just no luck till now...but im sure that will come!! And atm NO WAY of dropping Robinho of the starting 11!! He s actually getting better and better each game!! Give him 3-5 more games and he will be our Ronaldinho!!! And with Zidane and Guti in the middle everything is fine!!!

I agree hammy, I just don't know what Caro's going to do when Raul and Ronaldo are healthy. Raul and Ronaldo have guaranteed spots, despite what anyone says. It'll be a good dilema, I just don't know how he'll solve it.

I agree that when Raul and Ronaldo will be healthy there are have more priority on the starting line-up.Robinho is getting better and better so will see what happen it everyone is playing good is better for the team.

I think Start Ronaldo over Baptista and Soldado for sure! Raul is debatable on Guti's recent form. Robinho has to continue starting at that specific position. He's tearing it up right now! I cant wait for Wednesday's game!

Guti + Zidane = Ownage (having a DM below so they can give their best football),even Beckham is free to defend and create football , so he can just run in the right side and give some nice passes.

Remove Robinho. Raul can score much much more goals than Robinho right now.

I agree, cant believe people want to put Guti on the bench It seems like no matter what he does he never gets what he deserves. I agree with the Raul for Robinho aswell. I can wait for everyone to get to 100%, not a bad team at all except Woody wont be on the bench

I dont understand why everyone wants to remove Robinho. A player like him needs playing time and confidence cus if he gets that he'll tear defences apart like it is nothing!! He played great last few games, just like Guti and Zidane! But Raul isnt gonna return till end February-March i think, so we shouldnt be thinking about it atm! Who plays the best should play, thats it!

Real Madrid are being linked with a move for Boca Juniors midfielder Fernando Gago in the Spanish press.

The 19-year-old is seen by many in his homeland as the new Pep Guardiola, and may play a part in next summer’s World Cup in Germany.

The Boca president has insisted that he will not be going anywhere until 2007, but in the last few weeks Real have asked for the player’s situation and how much it would cost to take him to the Bernabeu.

Gago’s agent was also said to be in Madrid as recently as November.

Deschamps Interested In Real Job

The French coach is awaiting a call from the Merengues.
In the last hours Didier Deschamps has emerged as a serious contender for the coveted job as coach of Real Madrid, and the former Monaco mentor has no intention of refusing if the offer comes in.

“I would be crazy if I refused a possible offer from Real to sit on the bench of the Santiago Bernabeu,” declared Deschamps.
