omg... the players gave it all for the team :(
but it was just not enough :|

dont take this as a bad comment but the defense that played against zaragoza in the first game... was a big mistake from the coach

Man were are unlucky not to have won that one 5-0..great job by our team and the fans were GREAT. For some reason Zidane was bad and so was Baptista ( but that was expected ). Ah 2 penalties in the first leg, Zaragoza's goal taken away in this one...such drama. So close yet so far away. Great spirit from the team today(Y) We should all be happy that this kind of performance came from the team. I guess you can say fans of both team are happy now.

I hope morale doesn't drop down after that game. They give so much in that match but still it wasn't enough :nape:

Drop?? After this performance the morale should be even better. This should be good on the players before the match vs Arsenal.

Yes, but IMO players aren't thinking about performance but about that they didn't make it...

No no no my friend, after a performance like this they should be thinking about how great they can play. We as fans should be proud of the team and how they performed. At the end of the match the fans applauded the team. I doubt this will have a bad effect on them, it should make them wanting to win the league and CL even more now.

i dont know if i feel happy or gutted, it was an amazing effort but to be 4-0 up with 30 mins left and not to get that 5th goal is really guttin. At least we know a back 4 of Cicinho, Woody, Ramos and Carlos should always be the back 4.

Bring on Arsenal (Who were beat again today by Liverpool, and didnt look dangerous at all)

HALA MADRID!! :rockman:

Well spoken, that's exactly what's going on in my head right now.

I didn't post it of course (so I don't care if you believe me) but I predicted it would've been a 4 - 0 score. I new we were capable of it, c'on we're playing your best soccer in La Liga, we were at the Bernabeu...everything was there except that last goal. But anyways, I won't dwell on it any longer...next game.

With our morale up in the heavens, we get to play CL next week.

POR LA DECIMA. :jap:

Maybe you right, I just read that players were very dejected when they were leaving the field...all in all we should be proud.

Well it's just he and Beckham couldn't stand the strong rythm the 90' :(

Well Beckham had a great first half while Zidane just did not get it going today...neither did Baptista. This is why most of our play came from the wingers/fullbacks. We missed Guti a lot today ( damn injury ).

Also i have given a lot of stick to Ronaldo but i will give credit where it is deserved. He played really good today and gave a lot of heart in this one ( as did all the players even if some were not so good ). He needs to play like this more often. (Y)

We may have been knocked out but at least we went down fighting. The team played great and really showed that they bleed for the team.
