Are you serious? Have you seen RVN's stats for the last 5 games? He's got a total of 5 shots on gol in the last 5 games. the guy is inconsistent imo.

Is that the only stat you look for in a striker? He does other things which help the team a lot, things that Ronaldo just does not do because of his lazyness and playing Ronaldo now is stupid because he mind is already in Milan and not with Madrid. I doubt he would even run.

I mean, if he does not go before the close of the transfer window his value will only go down. This of course is based on the fact that he has not gotten enough playing this season, and playing time for the remainder of the season would also be hard to come by.

Why would anybody overpay for a player that based on lots of people's opinion, has become lazy, fat, and has not done much for us in the past two seasons??

No need for Ronaldo. Lets not mess up good overall chemistry. Why do some people get stuck in the past? Ronaldo is old news, Salgado is old news, etc, etc. If you want to win something within the next 3 years, let these young players play and gain experience. WTF has Ronaldo, Raul, Salgado & Co. done for us these last few years???? I hope Caps keeps playing the young guys! Love to see Miguel Torres be an everyday player as well as Gago, Higuain and Marcel (when he comes back). Guti, Raul, Ronaldo, etc = old news!

That is a pointless argument once you look at what the two have done this season. RvN has played relativly well even if he doesn't score and Ronaldo has been given more than one chance to impress and win back his spot but he simple has not. If RvN is in fact old news I would still pick him over Ronaldo.

There will be offers because Ronaldo is Ronaldo and teams will be interested. Its stupid to let him go for free, we get half of his image right money so unless Milan put an actual bid than we will be the losers.

Well you could ask why Milan is interested in a Ronaldo that has not play much this season but they still seem quite interested and this past summer they were willing to pay 20 million euros for him, I don't think so much will change in a year

a rep from ac milan is travelling to madrid monday to finalize the ronaldo deal. They are offering 12 million euros for him, 6 million a year for ronaldo's salary.

yup..he shud be back to madrid..each time when either the trio of cannavaro,ramos or helguera cant play (due to injury, suspension & etc.) in the center back..the defence really look shaky. well atleast he can be a good back up..

I think Nike pay Ronaldo his image rights and then Nike can do whatever they need to market their brand.

Beckham brings in the second most from his image rights because he only pays us the deals he made after he joined Madrid. So its quite a bit of money right there.

for 7.5 Million Euro. I think they will finalize the deal on Monday tho.
Oliveira is transferable and could be in this transfer, according to Milan. wouldn't that be a good swap deal?

Goodbye to a legend! its very sad to see him go. but if Capello choose to not include a player of his calibre match after match, then something is terribly wrong! maybe this is the best for the team to let him leave.

Capello says that Miguel Torres is now a 1st team player! so far he has played RB and LB. he´s been amazing on both positions. he can play CB also, so he´s a very versatile player.

Btw Datboy, I really hope thats not gonna be the line-up. Not because of the players but look at the formation. 4-1-2-2-1(or 4-5-1). If that happens then we are gonna waste another great talent putting him as a Left winger. I mean Higuain is a CF or a AM/10. Not a winger. This also happened to Robinho and I really DONT want it to happen to Higuain. Ofcourse I know its not certain that we are gonna play like that, but it would S*CK!
