The start of something new..

I recently got FM and finished up my second season.
I won the PL in my first season with Chelsea on Goal Difference coming to the last day. Then wrapped up the first season win the FA Cup against Tottingham winning 2-0. I lost in the semi's of the UCL, against Barca of all teams.

During the two summer transfer windows I had, I sold Ballack and Deco and actually got good money out of it. Ballack (Sevilla) for 10m and Deco (back to Barca) for 9m. In return I bought G. Bale, Saivet, Fiorillo, Balotelli, Zapata (who's f*cking brilliant in my game), Hamsik, Moutinho, Srna, Arshavin, Mattock. Sold and bought more players, especially youngsters. Srna was my best buy, he played incredible! He suffered a couple injuries but when he played, he played great, keeping Bosingwa out of the team in the first season who I then sold to Sunderland.

In my first season I played 4-3-3 with 2 CM's and 1 DM, 2 wingers and a striker.
Switched to 4-4-2 in my second season and played a more possession game than usual. I went through the season unbeaten:

But these draws almost killed my title bid in the beginning of the season..

I won manager of the year twice in a row (I also won manager of the month every other month during my second season!):


I finally won the UCL with Chelsea beating Manyoo 2-1 with J. Evans scoring an own goal in the 86th minute . :

Oh yeah, but Arshavin is getting kept out of the side by Cole and Balotelli.

Are you playing without the patches? Because I've been trying to sign Arshavin for 5 years straight with the 9.0.3 database and he won't leave Arsenal. He came for 14m in the demo though.

Looks like a good team, I use the same formation you used to use, and find it works best. Good luck with this one.

I got Arshavin after Arsenal lost the title on the last day after my first season...to me .

and Mattock is a great player, even as a back up. Got him fro 5m, the kid has great potential.

Man, those bastards were up on my ass in the beginning of the season, but kind of waded off towards the end of the season.

Really? I feel like Inter and Real Madrid spend just as much money, if not more, after the first few seasons.

Inter haven't made a big signing in my game at all. They keep co-owning young italians for 20m and it leaves them broke. The league is **** anyway, with Milan not even in Europe, and Juventus and Roma struggling to keep up. They don't need to sign big.

Madrid are overspenders in my game, but they generally sell their talent a year later, which was how I got Vaart and Veloso from them for cheap.

City would be the best team in England if it weren't for Chelsea, they spend millions for average players but they have a lot of depth and a lot of excellent players as well. It helps that ManU went to **** without SAF and Pool and Arse simply suck. The 3 of the Big 4 keep taking it in turns to play in UEFA.
