The Top 50 Goals Of All Time - Watch This !

I've seen that video about 25 times now. Every time I see it, I tell myself "Okay, I'm not watching the whole thing again." And then 22 minutes later I feel happy and sad at the same time.

Yeah, Carlos Alberto's goal should be in the Top 10, atleast.

A Football Masterpiece.

I just completely disagree. I was watching some show and they are saying how brilliant this is and I just keep watching and nothing happens. If that goal is top 10, Argentina is filling out the rest of the top 10 with goals from 2006.

First of all.
The level of every single player on that squad is unbelievable.
They were without a doubt the best world cup team in history.

Like football is today, you would expect alot individuality from them, expect them to do all that ronaldinho type circus passes, or whatever, but they were beyond that.

Instead they just flow with the ball, control the game absolutely with unmatched teamwork.

3? 4? Italian world-calss players get in the way. With individual brilliance, intellenge, and a few step overs, and they're all gone in a second, they never stood a chance. Pele gets the ball, slows the game down to a halt, he's got five defenders and the goalkeeper infront of him, what does he do?, with-out looking, he just passes the ball to what seems like the opponent, but then C. Alberto appears like a demon at full blast on the left, and buries the goal with such ease, you would think any one could do it.

When you see the final shot from the other side, you see the incredible difficulty of it. He only had one place to put it among all the legs, and there it went. Unstoppable.

Best team-goal of all WC History, which was not against some 3rd class team like the Argentina/Cambiasso one.

I like the one by V.d. Faart. (Y)

EDIT:
1- Apart from the Le Tissier's goals this comp's biased towards the EPL, but whatever.
2- Why don't they cut the music on these compilations - which gets incredibly dated quickly - and leave the original commentaries?

Bad bad clip. Some goals don't deserve to be there, some don't seem to be in the right place...and some aren't there. And the soundtrack, awful.

Sorry, but this is my opinion, dunno who did it though.

And what about against Olympiakos, the goal that secured the passage to the 1/8. That surely has to be first than that one. Or the screamer last year against West Ham...

People shouldnt get too worked up. WHen you're dealing with such an amount of goals, personal opinon and bias is always going to come into it. It's just a comp of 50 great goals.

And I agree about the music, having the original commentary always adds a lot to the goals!

Like Shearer said, I don't really care which ones are or aren't there. They're all great to watch. On the topic of the Carlos Alberto team goal, I love it. Yes, it's not some mazy run down the pitch, but it's just an unstoppable attack performed with great ease. The thing is, that great goal would probably get yawns from people who don't follow the game, for exactly the same reasons why it is such a great goal. It's an educated goal, relying on an impeccable team understanding.

A few other great goals that come to mind that could make the Top 100 video would be Rooney's volley against Newcastle, and Berger's goal against Charlton.
