I have WE8I, should I do the Evolution Patch, the Option 1 and then the FInal update.

thomas, yes, do Wolf's 2005 FM patch, then the Update1 patch, then the final version x option file. You'll need to import his para_we8.bin file at the end of that. Should be explained in his readme.txt

Damn! Is there any good option file with we shop classic players still in. I've searched everywhere, but it seems that Wolf's o-file is the only available one for we8 pc version.
I wan't to use Stoichkov and pals, but I also would like to see theyr real names.
Wolf, maybe you have some older version of your we8 o-file with we shop players still unchanged. I'd be gratefull to death if you could post it.:Bow:

My Winning Eleven 8 International also crashes after I've inserted the para_we8.bin into the 0_text.afs!

After installing the game, I downloaded and installed <<The Wolf FM2005 Evolution Patch - WE8I PC>> then after that update with <<TheWolfFM2005VersionXOption_File>> and the game crashes!

1 question is what should I do with the para_we8.bin file after importing into the 0_text.afs? Do I have to copy it and place it somewhere in my game directory?!

Yep that's all ok if the actual download works for ya - fact is it doesn't work for everybody and you wouldn't know unless it actually happened to you - you ONLY gave instructions for when the link works ... how could you know what to do when it doesn't? . It won't work for some ppl cos of some proxy bull (they say you can't d/l if you behind a proxy - read the FAQ) they use it to stop overuse - I could NOT download either so guess what? - I used an anonymous proxy and I had no problem. They're full of sh!t

I feel like a big idiot, really. but where do i put this para_8 file? I cannot figure it out, it wont let me place it in the 0-text.afs file cause it says its not part of an update. really wierd stuff

Man, I had the same problem... it's really easy.

Once you've imported the 0_text.afs file into AFS Explorer, you have to look in the list tha appears on the right side of the window (the long list) for a file called para_we8 (I don't remember the exact name of the file inside the patch, but it should be the same of the one listed there).

Then you right click over that file in AFS Explorer and select the option "Import File", you browse the file form Wolf's patch, and voilá...

That's all.

Does anyone know how to make the para_we8 file or import the info from the OF into the para_we8? I know there's option to generate it from EditPES4OptionFile, but is there any other way?
