I found out the problem: I didn't have any of the kits in the folder.


People I need some help, can someone help me find where to download all the kits that were in Wolf's latest patch... I have kitserver but I have none of the kits there in the folder...

I got the same problem! I have 3.0 and 1.10 official patch installed. Would that be the problem, i need advice!

Btw, I have just downloaded the five parts to the 3.0 patch, after just purchasing the game today. I have been on forums looking for any threads that might help me, but I havent found any so here goes. See the five parts, they are completely identical, and I really dont have a clue what to do with them. On one thread, in an other forum, someone had said you put them all into 'one big file', whatever that meant, and then apply it. I am aware there are five parts and they all need to be applied, but I dont know what steps to do first, as the readmes in all the parts are the same, just telling me which files to copy where. When I started applying the first part earlier, I was just overwriting the present files with the ones in the first part, and then doing the same with all the other ones. I then thought I was maybe doing it wrong, because of what I read about putting them into one big file, so I uninstalled the game and here I am.

I just need someone to tell me what to do first with the five parts, and then the applying part shouldnt be too difficult for me. Please could someone help me, I am but a computer n00b wanting a game of my precious Pro Evo with the real kits and names...

ok bisciut ill give it a go:
1)after you d/l all the five parts open up any part(1,2,3,4,5) and double click it,this should start an extraction i believe and it will join up all the files,you should see a percentage meter

2)when finished left click the folder(ie the wolf evolution patch folder) or left click any part and select 'select all',everything should become highlighted,left click again and click 'extract to specified folder',extract this to 'my documents' or any folder you like

3)when its extracted everything(mite take about 30 secs)go to the folder you extracted it to, then install each part individually(ie start with o_text,click copy and paste it into the pes4/dat folder,read the readmes,

I have tried doing that jimbo but when i try and start up the game it says it has encountered an error and has to close!

just copy the files to the correct folder (you can see in the readme) just do it with the ones in part 1. Cause then all the files willl be extracted

really an error,hmm dunno bout that,i have had probs with this patch too,game freezing alot and looping sound,slow menu loads etc,never had it b4 with the game,wolf any ideas?

Everything is cool now Jimbo, I just reinstalled the game, and retraced my steps throught the patching, works fine now. Ta much m8!

I unrarred the five parts in the same folder in which they were put after the download ( "extract here"). Took a hell of a long time and lot of overwriting took place. And then I followed the read me, just copied the stuff to the PES4 directory.
And that worked!

That's because you did the job four times more than necessary. The patch is spread across 5 parts to make it easier to download in chunks. But each part knows about the existence of the other 4 parts. You only have to extract the first part - Winrar automatically pulls all the contents of the five parts together when extracting the first part.

That's why you got lots of overwriting. EAch time you extracted another part you were re-doing what you had already done.

Mods - is this worth putting in the sticky FAQ? Winrar seems to cause more questions than any other.

Guys i need help. I have tried and tried and tried to install the patch but EVERYTIME i download it and go to extract the rar file i get a message saying the file is corrupt. I have downloaded this about 5 times and still no success. Please help!!
