It's a game where pixelists make their own apartment and they build them on top of each other's apartments to form a tall building. The project is terminated now btw, but I find this is really fun, we can have something like this on sg, I'm sure it'll appeal to all you pixel freaks out there. :)

holy ****e thats good...i like the indoor soccer, the drinking contest, the jail, the star wars one, the tank (although how it fits the other half in is beyond me), the brick house with the trees, 'this side up', the sandwich, the big sheep, 'the arse house'

but some arent pixel art...just some **** pasted on...


why dont we make that our new comp??

Yeah I have seen this before, really well done. :)

No-one could beat that record, but it would always be fun to create a tower! :)

kool this should be fun, im not good with pixel art so it will be a good experience for me. I have 2 flags of St George Cross and the Union Carlos and i have 2 Man United scarfs and Carlisle United one:) all in my room

Well here is a template, I thought this is a good size... I think it has enough room to fit in whatever ya want to... I also think it is good size because once rooms are placed on top of each other it wont cut out that much space so we can see all the details. :)

I have also added in a template for people... so the average height of a person is 50 px high, so try and keep the scale around the person, making the objects to fit his size.... If i get time I will make isometric people that stand at 50 px high. :)

Hope you like it... if you want it changed I can do so, but I think this height and width is good... you can do whatever you want in it... (add 2 stories etc.)

Looks good so far, but a suggestion. Maybe there should be the outer walls of the house too. maybe a different layer, because now it wouldn't look like tower really. Have you tried, how the tower fits.

I'll start making mine, maybe even today..

Yeah the tower fits fine, layer above layer etc...

I think this template is fine... If people want to add wall textures they can but otherwise it should just stay the same... thats what I think anyway... it will look good once we get a few together. Look at Mr Wongs, he doesnt have an exact wall texture, its just boxes and people create what they want in the boxes, if they want to add their own textures for walls they can... if not they leave it.

yeah, the only thing concerning me was, that people would make the house look foolish. Im currently starting my own, it's not going to be my bedroom, but something..

yeah the people template wasnt actually a template for people to use... it was just an example of how big they are going to be... (50 pixles high) so try to make everything to that scale... I will make people in ISO when I get time, but at the moment I am working on my Subway picture trying hard to get it finished.

No, wait. I suppose we'd use that as the template, then add stuff to it. If some people might find it a bit high, then maybe make a second template that's half of it?

But the thing is that if it is half the size then not a lot of the floor will be seen because there will be another floor ontop of it which would cut out more than 50% of the picture...

But I guess if thats the way people want it thats fine by me I will half the template. :)

Ah well, here is a smaller one, for people who want to use it, it might be easier if your starting off with pixel art. :)
