People who still slag Crouch haven't really watched him play, surely!! He's come a massive way since the time he couldn't break his Liverpool duck. His allround play makes him worthy of a place amongst the top forwards in the league.

I remember some NUFC fans saying Shola was better than Crouch ... oh how I laughed. That goal against Gala was just sick... couldn't stop laughing for five minutes though.

Oh how convenient. So if Crouch is our top scorer you're taking that from him because we're in a bad position. You could say he was the spark on our doomed team but no, it's convenient for your argument to say that Crouch being our top scorer means Liverpool suck, oh well.

About the teams that he scored the goals against, well, no giants indeed but he was the only England striker that netted on the WC, and the Andorra and Macedonia ones means he's got 3 goals on the qualifiers already i guess? Where as England's golden boy Wayne Rooney has scored how many in the quals? How many for Lampard?
